Birth and labour are a fucking trip. Literally. My partner said there were times were I seemed like I was on heavy drugs. It was just the pain and hormones that sent me loopy, I didn't have any pain relief. I can't even remember parts of it. I slept through parts of it. I have never had to dig so deep and overcome so many physical and emotional hurdles. I was bored at times.

I don't think I've slept more than 4 hrs per day for the past week, so even now there's an air of unreality over everything. I'm forgetting everything. I'm on a euphoric high and also cry at the drop of a hat.
