Step 1: Parents wash their hands first, then gently scrub the baby's eyes with a soft konjac sponge, from the inner corner of the eye to the outer side; then scrub the face (do not rub softly); then wash again Squeeze your ears and finally, dab your nostrils, only cleaning what you can see and don't try to get inside.
Step 2: Coordinate the left and right hands to support the baby's body. Bathing your baby starts with the head, then the face, then the hair, and then the whole body. When taking a bath, use your left arm to clamp the baby's body and support the baby's head to make the baby feel safe and comfortable. Use your index finger and thumb to gently cover the baby's ears inward to prevent water from flowing into the baby's ears.
Step 3: Undress the baby, and then gently put the baby into the adjusted bath water.
Step 4: When cleaning the baby girl, never separate the baby girl's labia to clean the inside, otherwise it will hinder the flow of mucus that can kill bacteria, and wash from front to back. This prevents bacteria from the anus from spreading to the vagina and causing an infection.
When washing a baby boy, never push the foreskin up to wash the inside as this can tear or damage the foreskin.
Step 5: After rinsing, take the baby out of the water, put a dry and soft bath towel on him immediately, and dry the water gently and carefully, paying special attention to the places with wrinkles, such as ears, neck, Armpits, navel, external genitalia, between toes, etc.
Step 6: After drying, put the baby on the clean clothes prepared in advance.
It is worth noting that if you are bathing a newborn baby within 7 days, because the stump of the umbilical cord has not fallen off, you must be careful not to touch it when bathing. If you get wet in the shower, don't worry, just dry it with a clean cotton swab and apply 75% alcohol.
