Bandit like a normal racoon sleeps all day but as soon as the sun is setting she is running around playing and playing. It is so funny to watch her. She climbs all over and bites and shakes this hammock she sleeps in. She runs from the top floor to the botyom floor of her condo. She drops her bowles down the stairs then tries to drag them back up. She is still fearful of us, but its crazy how far she has come from the skin and bones, immobile, dehydrated sick little girl. I remember being worried rach time I came back to check on her that this time should would be dead. Each day she got a litter better. Bandit thankfully made a turn for the better this morning after lots of fluids and meds I think she will pull threw. Still trying to get all these burs out of her coat. The most burrs are under her arms, i think maybe we just need to shave her armpits because they are to tightly packed and I know they hurt her pulling her hair and her skin is red under the burrs. But we can pretty easily get them off the rest of her body. Each time we feed her we do like monkeys picking bugs off each other and get burrs off of her. The bath with my good conditioner and a comb really worked well to get the majority off her body but not the armpit area. 😔 #racoon #rescueracoon #babyracoon #wildlife #Bandit #Bandittheracoon
