B'Syl'da has always been careful to maintain his body and spent little time in dogfights to get severely gravity damaged (despite his love for dogfighting and plane sims). He simply advanced too quickly to build up the musculoskeletal injuries so common in all the terrestrial pilots. For his age, his cultural mid fourties, he looks youthful and dignified. He is also muscular and well-built for an air caste.
Even so, he usually wears hock support and fetlock braces. And not even he has escaped giving himself the diamonds by working hard under gravity. He has been over-exhausted on occasion, once to the point of collapse, but he vows to not repeat that. Nowadays, he avoids working planetside like the plague. If he must, he will, but is generally much more careful now.
