I think it’s safe to say our moody Shadowsinger is down bad for the gentle flower-grower. Sleepless nights. Skin taught with desire. Pure yearning. Having nothing but a bottle of headache powder to cling to in order to think of and be with her, even only in his mind if that’s all he can have. Poor Azzy 😔 (but let’s be real, we’re loving the angst 😏).

I don’t want to start any drama which is why I’m on anon but do Gwynriels/people not associated with the ship war participate in Azriel week? I ask because I was curious and wanted to enjoy some content as I love him separate from Gwynriel just like I love Gwyn as a separate character too.
But everything I’ve seen has been tagged E/riel which is kinda weird to me when the pieces I’ve seen like that are just HIM. And in no way related to either ship. I mean common sense to me would say that if it were me contributing something that’s just Azriel I wouldn’t tag it Gwynriel when it has nothing to do with that.
I don’t know I’m just kinda disappointed that I feel like I can’t even participate or enjoy it when I feel like E/riel is being pushed in my face constantly.
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that! I don’t really know if Gwynriels or any other people participate in Azriel week, I’m relatively new in the fandom but I’m pretty sure they do! I hope you can find more Azriel content without the ship war getting pushed in your face.🫶🏻

There’s still so much about Azriel we don’t know about. But I am certain his future involves Elain and I cannot wait to read their story and watch their romance blossom. The build up has the potential to be one of Sarah’s best couples (choice, forbidden love, light and dark aesthetics, etc. 😩) and I am excited to see their journey together. 🦇💙
