So I thought the figures around the center are curved towards. But some of the text during the hologram shows them as apart. But what if it's both? What if the circle is depicting the unified cycle of departing and reconnecting?

Making these has made me realize that the Axum sentences are fixed in space. The glyphs rotate to face the player but stay fixed in their spacial position.
I also can't tell if the glyphs have changed because of updates or if it's random gen. Uuuugh I wish I could play the game again so I could try and test the random gen theory myself!!!!
Kinda thinking the people in charge of the conlang were given more to bite than they can chew
Been trying to be certain of what this center symbol is.
At first I was certain it was shallow
But the stroke order doesn't match. And stroke order and orientation must matter or else "shallow" and "human" are the same symbol
Are shallow and human the same symbol????
Related but different??
Is this symbol a secret third thing????
i almost have the code for this stream points system done! I figure on Monday it'll be ready to test, and for an hour or so I'll stream the testing to make sure everything works before Wednesday's stream, where we'll hopefully be ready to use the stream points without any hiccups. Exciting!

god, Rust is such a fucking good programming language. I used to be a C++ programmer, and then C, but after discovering Rust its just like "whoa, this is like C but actually good"
This post was brought to you by enum destructuring and field init shorthand
Also Axum is such a good crate holy fuck. I have tons of middleware for this thing I'm coding, and at the auth level once it verifies someone by basic or bearer authorization it adds an extension for their account/session information, and because of that the functions later down the chain don't even have to access the database cuz the info was already passed onto them
And I have this middleware for permissions verification that uses a template that takes the bitflag for the permission and all it has to do is just verify that against the account info extension, again, without making database calls
And all this middleware means that the actual API functions can skip conditionals and just run the important code. Like the delete session code doesn't need to get from the database or test for who's running it, cuz at that point its already passed the bearer auth middleware and that's passed along the bearer token. So the delete session function is just one line of executing SQL
Programming in rust and Axum makes me feel like I'm gonna cβ
God, I need to hurry up and get a job in computer science. If only companies used rust. Guess I gotta learn PHP or GO or something
For centuries, Ethiopia has proudly claimed the Queen of Sheba as its own, Makeda, the founder of a Solomonic dynasty that shaped the nationβs identity. At the centre of this claim lies Axum, where the ruins of Dungur (or Queen of Shebaβs Palace) rise from the earth as a testament to ancient power. Could this vast stone complex, with its intricate layouts and elite architecture, truly have been her home? Discoveries in the region add weight to the possibility: ancient gold mines potentially funding her legendary wealth, Sabean-style artifacts and inscriptions linking to the biblical land of Sheba, and excavations revealing high-status burials and cultural exchanges across the Red Sea. These findings suggest Aksum was part of a broader Sabean-influenced world, challenging the idea that Sheba was solely in modern Yemen. Though debates persist, some date the visible ruins centuries after her time, the siteβs prominence in Ethiopian lore, combined with ongoing unexcavated potential (90% of Aksum remains buried), keeps the question burning. If true, Axumβs palace ruins would rewrite history, proving Ethiopiaβs deep biblical roots and the queen's enduring legacy right where tradition has always placed her.Β
