Official Summary: Yuto.. The Hunger Butcher (Axetale Path)1. The Fall and The Grudge:Yuto fell into the decaying hell of Axetale due to the betrayal of "fools" from his school. He didn't fall in despair, but burning with spite. He confronted Flowey with a direct threat from his knife, choosing to fight rather than listen to nonsense, beginning his journey in the Ruins as a predator, not prey.2. The Stealth and Escape:Instead of facing the maddened Toriel, Yuto used his wits. He slipped out of her home while she was searching for "fresh meat" in the kitchen, jumping from the stairs toward the frozen gates of Snowdin, realizing that survival requires quick thinking, not futile confrontation.3. The Snowdin Clash & The Red Shield:In the forests of Snowdin, Yuto crushed the starving monsters with his Magical Red Shield and knife. He faced Papyrus, who tried to understand his humanity. Due to Yuto's nature as a "former bully" who protects himself with cruelty (similar to Susie), he initially refused trust but agreed to accompany Papyrus to avoid a clash with his brother.4. The Armed Truce at Sans's House:At the house, Yuto met Aliza, leading to a massive standoff with Axe Sans. The confrontation almost exploded if not for the intervention of Papyrus and Aliza. Despite his harshness, Yuto left a piece of chocolate for Aliza as a hidden act of kindness, proving a remnant of humanity still lingers within him.5. The Reckoning & Breaking the Barrier:After a bloody journey and defeating Undyne with a treacherous shield strike, Yuto reached The Barrier. He didn't wait for souls; instead, he used the Determination of Hatred to shatter the passage and reach the Surface. There, he hunted down the bullies one by one, crushing their pride and ending the "Era of Mercy."6. Return to the Honest Hell:In a sudden twist, Yuto decided to return to the Underground, carrying the "corpses of the bullies" as a feast for the starving Sans, and their souls as a backup plan. He chose to live with the "Honest Monsters" (Aliza and her family) rather than stay in the "Surface Hell" full of traitors.Character Traits (Axetale Version):Powers: Red Shield, Knife, and "Slash" magic fueled by Hatred.Philosophy: The Surface is the greater hell; a starving monster is better than a treacherous human.Distinction: He is the human who tamed the hunger and hunted the traitors to protect his new family.

Axe... had been having a rough couple days, and that would be an understatement. He still missed Papyrus, and he still couldn't get that day out of his skull. His brother's dust on the floor, the panic that had filled his bones as he rushed to his house, following his brother's footprints, but he was too late. He would never forgive himself for that, but he knew he couldn't stay there and wither away into nothing because of The Hunger.
He wouldn't give Flowey the satisfaction of seeing him become nothing but a rabid animal in his timeline, so he left, accepting Horror's offer, and besides, he'd been right, he didn't want to forget his brother. He just... he missed him. Axe still hadn't gotten anything for his room, refusing to even leave this castle. He'd picked the room to the right of Horror's, which had mostly dark gray coloring with black, but Axe didn't concentrate too much on the furniture.
He was barely in the room other than the bed or a corner, curled up with his knees pulled up to his chest as he clutched the locket Frisk had given him before they'd left. His eye sockets were empty, not trying to force a smile, and blue and yellow tears were coming from his eye sockets. The nightmares were torturous, seeing his brother actually- Axe shook his skull a bit, shaking the imagery out of his skull, and he buried his face further in his knees.
Nightmare had been helping him as promised, which he appreciated. He hadn't expected a 'Guardian of Negativity' to be so good at calming him down, but he was, and it was appreciated, even if he didn't deserve it. One second he was trapped in the worst night terror of his life, and the next Nightmare was there, waking him up and calming him down, offering food and anything Axe wanted in order to help him. He'd had his apprehensions when he'd agreed to join, but he'd been a mix of wanting to get out of his timeline and if anything bad was going to happen, he would at least deserve it since he hadn't been there for his brother.
Maybe the nightmares were karma, in a way, for his failure, which is why he didn't complain about them. He wasn't even upset he was having them, he was just grieving. His new teammates had been supportive enough, in terms of trying to help him, but... nothing could help this, and he avoided them most of the time, and he didn't accept their attempts at companionship.
He just went through the motions of eating whenever The Hunger grew to be too much, somewhat socializing with the others, and sleeping, which was his true hell. Axe was currently curled up on his bed, knees pulled to his chest and his left hand tightly gripping the locket his best friend had given him before she'd left the Underground. A knock on his door made his skull shoot up, eyelights reigniting as he looked at the door, almost habitually summoning his axe.
"axe? can i come in?" Cross's voice sounded from outside of the door, and Axe nodded before realizing Cross couldn't see that.
"uh.. yeah, you can come in..." Axe responded, wiping the tears away as the door opened, Cross entering with a plate of snacks and some card games.
"you doing ok?" Cross asked, moving to sit at the end of the bed, and Axe shrugged.
"as good as i can be..." Axe sighed, and Cross nodded a bit, "what're you doing here? not to be rude or anythin'."
"well, the others are out on missions, and i stayed back to keep an eyelight on you." Cross answered.
"scared i'll go off the deep end?" Axe questioned bitterly, causing Cross to sigh, a... well, cross look appearing on his face.
"no, not off the deep end, just.... look, everyone grieves, it's perfectly normal. it's also helpful when you're not alone, and you know you can count on those around you to help you." Cross said, "everyone here has experienced loss, and something everyone here has mutually agreed on is that we help each other. from what i heard, when horror first came here, killer and dust helped him more than anything could've, aside from nightmare helping with the... well, nightmares. they got him through it, and when i got here and i had my night terrors, i could talk to them or nightmare and they could help me."
"this is different. you guys probably watched them get killed by something, you never had to live the knowledge you couldn't save him from-" Axe started, but Cross cut him off.
"we do. killer... killer doesn't really remember much about his past, dust buries himself in lv to make the pain stop, horror keeps going because he adopted killer and dust as his little brothers and is doing his damn best to protect them, i keep my walls up, and fell... fell got unlucky with his brother and is here getting away from him. all of us have to live with things we wish we didn't have to, and all of us that had good brothers mourn them. you aren't alone, axe. even if no one is around, you're never alone."
Axe was quiet, not knowing what to say to that, so he didn't reply.
"look, you'll get through this, ok? i may not know how you feel, but i know you'll get through this, if not for yourself then for him. he wouldn't want you to give up."
"he gave up." Axe mumbled.
"but he wouldn't want you to." Cross said firmly, "i may not have known your brother, but i know he wouldn't want you to give up. no papyrus would want that, probably not even fell's. he loved you, axe. i might not know why he... you know, but i know that he loved you and wouldn't want you to blame yourself for what he did. there was nothing you could've done, and the last thing he would want is for you to blame yourself."
"how can i not? i-!" Axe started, but Cross interrupted him.
"it wasn't your fault. don't blame yourself for what happened. it wasn't your fault, axe, there was nothing you could've done. this is a new beginning for you; a chance for you to start fresh away from all the pain. to get a family again. people to protect and care for and fight for. you're not here for no reason, believe me. your brother would want you to be happy, axe, and this is where you start."
". . . i still can't just move on." Axe told him.
"i'm not telling you to, and i'm not saying you ever have to unless you're ready to. all i'm saying is for you to keep going. take this second chance and try getting to know everyone here, and let us help you." Cross responded.
"and this is how you wanna help? snacks and card games?" Axe asked.
"yes. i'm gonna take your mind off of all this, and we're gonna talk while we play, alright?" Cross replied, holding some of the snacks out to Axe.
"what about crumbs?" Axe questioned.
"eh, maybe they'll lure out that weird thing in the castle. horror's been trying to catch it for like two nights now." Cross shrugged, and Axe let out a small laugh.
"alright, fine..." Axe relented, figuring he might as well give this a shot; he had nothing better to do anyways.
"great. what do you wanna play first?" Cross asked, spreading the card game boxes out.
"first?" Axe repeated.
"well, i don't plan on leaving, and they'll be gone for a while." Cross clarified, and Axe sighed a little.
At least Cross wasn't bad company... even though he sucked at Uno.
Killer was in another AU for the plan, and he'd been really looking forward to this mission since they talked about it in the meeting yesterday. They were only hitting three AUs this time around. Shattered, Ink, and someone Killer hadn't met yet were hitting Birdtale, Fell, Violet, and Bill were hitting a classic Undertale timeline, which the author wouldn't write because of the need for plot progression, and Killer... Killer viewed this as his favorite one. He looked behind himself at Dust, Horror, and Nightmare, a smirk on his face, and the Dancefell monsters quickly spread out across the Danceswap AU.
Killer had been wanting to go to one of these for months, and it was finally happening. He wished Cross could be here for this, but he was back with Axe keeping an eyelight on him after last night, which Killer could understand, based on how much he was screaming. Either way, Killer could rub in Cross's defeat at Just Dance later, they had work to do.
Killer gave them a mock salute before teleporting to the Core, crouched on one of the pipes and grabbing the small circular device from his pocket, slipping it in a hidden area. He pressed it onto the metal before pressing the button, watching it light up a dull red. Hotland was hot, as always, but Killer didn't feel it so much as he noticed it. He teleported back to the others after that, the smirk still on his face.
"this is gonna be so much fun! it's just like old times!" Killer grinned, not completely exaggerating how excited he was about this.
The nostalgia was nice, especially with how long it'd been since it was just the four of them here. Killer could still remember the early days, and not just before Shattered shows up and things ramped up, but back when Dust joined up. He still remembered what had happened with the cat, but he'd accepted it. Nightmare's logic had been sound, honestly, the cat would've been a weakness, and considering how Dream mind controlled Cross, Nightmare had had every reason to be worried about it.
Besides, Nightmare had apologized since Killer would admit, he'd been a bit... harsh about it, and then Dust had been recruited, and everything got better. Looking back on how much Dust had changed, not just with the amount of power he'd acquired, but just how he was in general... he was different. More detached and apathetic, willing to be cruel and heartless and merciless. Early on, this little plan with that Sans X had hacked into a double agent... Dust wouldn't have approved in the slightest, Killer knew that.
Dust had always been so adamant about free will, to the point he'd make a point to do something someone wouldn't expect him to do so that he could prove he had free will, and he didn't exactly approve of others losing their free will. That's why he'd been so pissed at Dream, other than the reasons Dust had explained yesterday, which Killer understood. It was still odd to see Dust ok with this plan, and sure, it was useful and would give them a huge advantage, but he hadn't expected Dust to be ok with it. Killer himself was desensitized to a lot because of Chara, but he hadn't expected LV to desensitize Dust like this.
Like sure, Dust was still Dust, they were still teammates and friends, and Dust was still himself most of the time, but when the LV was hitting him hard or when they were on a mission, he could be extremely cold. Killer didn't mind it, as Dust was an absolute badass most of the time, not to mention the plans he came up with and did, or the ones Killer got Dust on board with. It was just a change from how he'd been early on, and when he thought back on those moments... it was still different. Horror hadn't gained nearly as much LV, so he hadn't changed much.
He still wouldn't be around if a Papyrus was an enemy, and if Stretch was around Horror would avert his attention, but he avoided when any of them killed any Papyruses in any AUs. Horror didn't care about that much, not in the sense of not caring about things or people, but in the sense that not a lot could get to him. He was fine with torture, massive amounts of blood, terrorizing people, enough gore to make Fell vomit, but when it came to a Papyrus getting hurt, he couldn't do it. Killer knew how much his brother's death still got to him, and he was probably the only one on the team besides Dust when the LV was wearing off that cared for his brother, and now Axe.
It wasn't a surprise that Horror sympathized with Axe and recruited him, something Killer wasn't even sure they were allowed to do, but Nightmare had permitted it. Killer also had noticed how Horror had tried talking to him, but he'd been closed off about it or just upset, even with Nightmare trying to help him. Killer didn't understand the emotions behind it, honestly. He knew how he'd felt when Dust had almost died, hell, he'd had nightmares about it for a while after, and he still did sometimes, leading to him sleeping in Dust's room after one hit.
For Horror and Axe though... Killer couldn't empathize. He tried to sympathize with them, but it never worked, just leaving him apathetic to it. Maybe it was the fact that he didn't like Papyruses, maybe it was the fact that he didn't understand how they cared so much about them, or maybe it was the fact that he was just incapable of empathizing with pretty much everyone when it came to grief or the loss of familial bonds. He empathized with Ink when it came to the obvious torture he'd gone through, he empathized with feeling nothing other than like he was a numb husk unless he exaggerated every sliver of emotion he felt in an attempt to exasperate it, but Ink didn't even have that.
He just acted constantly, completely unfeeling but putting on a show, and a pretty convincing one at that. Ink was good, and he showed it, and if someone didn't know he was empty inside, they'd fall for it. He'd also made a new personality that he acted on, but Killer had suspicions that Shattered was the one who made it and Ink acted on it. Whichever it was, Ink hid who and what he was just like Killer did, and Killer related to that more than anything.
"yeah, it's been a while since it was just the four of us." Dust agreed, "you plant it?"
"yeah, it's secure. you ready to have some fun?" Killer asked, his smirk growing.
"yeah, but i'm not dancing." Dust refused, and Killer exaggerated a pout.
"oh come on, dusty! it'll be fun!" Killer whined.
"killer, you're more flexible than a damn slinky, none of us are trying that. we watched you play just dance with cross last night." Horror remarked, and Killer snickered.
"scared you'll throw out your back, old man?~" Killer teased.
"not even remotely." Horror responded.
"terrified, got it. good thing boss doesn't have a back i can help him throw out." Killer smiled, and Nightmare sighed as Horror and Dust facepalmed.
"killer." Nightmare said sternly.
"i know, i know, keep the sweet talk for later~" Killer smirked.
"killer-!" Nightmare started.
"come on, dusty! let's go!" Killer teleported over to Dust, grabbing his wrist before starting to run away with him in tow, only to skid to a stop.
Hate manifested in front of him, smirking, and Killer could feel the tension that suddenly formed. Every single time Nightmare and Hate were in the same room, there was always tension. And Killer loved it.
"hate." Killer looked back at Nightmare to see him crossing his arms, and he pulled Dust to the side to watch the show.
"mare." Hate smirked, and Nightmare bristled, "and hot topic."
Dust snorted at that, his free hand over his mouth, trying to hold his laughter back despite his shaking shoulders giving him away.
"you've done your part in this, can you rid us of your presence? your involvement in this is supposed to be a secret." Nightmare glared.
"yeah, but it's no fun just spreading my snakes around the aus you all want, just on standby. i wanna have some fun in this too, so i want to help fight." Hate shrugged.
"you did by making the au fight each other before we arrived." Nightmare pointed out.
"that's not enough, mare! you know i don't like missing out on the action." Hate said.
"yes, because you always had to be the damn center of attention, and the 'action', as you put it, was always me doing all of the work!" Nightmare hissed.
"and yet you're too lazy to get your own coal, so you have those santa sanses drop it off for you." Hate remarked.
"drop it with the santa sans squad thing, i told you it was ironic because they think the coal is a punishment! what would i do with candy or presents or any of the damn sweets they'd bring me if i played nice with the multiverse?" Nightmare scoffed.
"especially when there's such a sweet thing over there." Hate smirked, pointing his thumb at Killer, who snickered.
"you're seriously enjoying watching this?" Dust whispered to him.
"i like the drama and seeing boss fight for me. it's hot." Killer whispered back, and Dust facepalmed, rolling his eyelights.
"one more word out of you and i will remove you of the black mamba between your legs and it's two pathetic attempts at eggs." Nightmare threatened lowly, and Hate shuddered a bit, vanishing in a puff of smoke.
Killer was trying to restrain his laughter and amusement, snickering, and he watched Nightmare stalk off, cursing in Spanish under his breath.
"well, that was fun!~ now let's go!" Killer started running again, pulling dust with him.
Explosions were around them from the monsters of both AUs fighting, Killer watching several types of dancing happening all over the AU. The fell variants were more violent about it, and Killer never thought he'd see the day where ballet was violent, but it was an entertaining sight. Killer was tempted to watch it for a moment, entertained by the dancing, and he gave into that temptation, crouching down and watching the fight, pulling Dust down with him.
"we have a job to do, you know." Dust told him.
"yeah, to wait for the stupid stars to show up. in the mean time, we can watch the fights. there's no harm in it, after all." Killer replied, "the dancefell monsters are doing the terrorizing for us. we're just here to take out the star pests and plant the device."
"it's still weird. just watching this happen instead of doing it ourselves." Dust mentioned, and Killer agreed.
"yeah, but you like being lazy, don't cha?" Killer asked.
"yeah, i do, but it's still weird." Dust replied, and Killer laughed a bit.
"yeah, true. kinda nice, though, being able to watch the drama and fighting. any powers catch your interest?" Killer questioned.
"nah, and before you say it, i will not do ballet." Dust glared, and Killer snickered.
"you say that now~" Killer smirked.
"and it will remain true. you're more than welcome, though." Dust said.
"nah, i'm good. pfffft, can you imagine nightmare doing ballet?" Killer asked.
They both broke out laughing, seeming to have the same mental picture, and after a few moments, they settled down.
"nah, but i can imagine bill in a thong thanks to ink." Dust chuckled, and Killer laughed.
"we need to meet up like that again. that was one of the funniest game nights to date." Killer said, and Dust nodded in agreement.
"heh, yeah." Dust snickered.
Killer heard talking a bit away, and he saw Dust hear it too, as both of their skulls had raised. It was coming from a bit away, and Killer exchanged a look with Dust, both of them having the same idea before they ran across the rooftops towards the chatter, staying quiet and hidden. Eventually they got close enough to see the source of the what Killer discerned was bickering, and he looked over the edge of the rooftop, seeing none other than Murder and Knife. Killer looked over at Dust, who was now next to him on the rooftop, and they nodded at each other, not attacking yet, just eavesdropping.
"i'm still pissed at you for underswap." Murder told Knife.
"oh come on, i thought you said you'd let that go if i brought you here!" Knife responded.
"you got me to kill, knife! something i swore i was done with-!" Murder started, but Knife cut him off.
"after insanity."
"-shut it!" Murder hissed, and he continued, "and sure, you brought me here, which thanks for that, but i still don't forgive you, and i won't ever forgive you for that."
Knife sighed, "i know, i know, you hold grudges! i get the point!" Knife was silent for a moment before saying, "hey, murder?"
"what, knife?" Murder acknowledged, irritated.
"do you promise to at least try getting along with me if i let you punch me as hard as you can in the chin? like, solid uppercut, and then... i dunno, we start over?" Knife questioned.
"are you serious right now?" Murder asked, and Knife nodded.
"yep. look, i already apologized for it, both to you and to dream, player fixed your code, you're back to normal, and if you're gonna go behind dream's back and come here for the fight after he told you not to, i at least wanna get along with you. you saw how well we worked together, it's effective and you know it." Knife pointed out.
Murder seemed to think for a moment, before he landed a harsh uppercut to Knife's jaw, sending him stumbling back before landing on his coccyx on the ground. Knife spat out black blood, and he pushed himself up like he'd only been pinched. Killer knew he probably didn't even feel it, but Murder did seem a bit calmer... but he was still pissed, which was good for him and Dust, since they'd be easier to take down.
"better?" Knife questioned.
"shut it." Murder glared.
"ok, ok." Knife relented, standing next to Murder again, "does this mean we're even?"
". . . if my loathing for you didn't hurt dream, i would say no, but luckily for you, it does. so, you have one more chance, that's it." Murder informed lowly.
"works for me." Knife smirked, "and i'll even help you out and not tell dream about this."
"oh so generous." Murder rolled his eyelights sarcastically.
"i know." Knife smirked, "you're welcome!"
"killer? psst." Dust got his attention by whispering, and Killer looked over at him, "paps wants to know when we're gonna get 'em?"
"give it a sec." Killer whispered back, going back to watching them.
"who even knows where they are, anyways. all dream and reality mentioned in the debriefing is where nightmare, shattered, and another unusual source of negativity was. dream can't even pinpoint them anymore, and we have no way of telling who else is here." Knife mentioned, and Killer smirked at the information, "they could be right above us and we wouldn't even know about it unless we were used to keeping an eye out for people watching us."
Killer quickly pulled Dust down and teleported them away as Knife summoned his Gaster Blaster, and the blast fired at the rooftop. Killer looked over at Dust, doublechecking he was ok, and when he saw he was, he let go of his arm and teleported down to the street Murder and Knife were on.
"not bad." Killer admitted, summoning a knife into his hand, spinning it between his fingers.
"you..." Murder glared, summoning sharp bones behind himself, "you're gonna pay for what happened back in underswap..."
"what? making you get off your high horse?" Dust questioned, teleporting next to Killer, "you act like you're so much damn better than us even though you and i weren't so different."
"me and you are nothing alike." Murder hissed, "even if we were at some point, we're not now. you have no reason to kill but you still do it anyways."
"oh i have reasons, they're just not ones you approve of." Dust smirked, "but you did see the appeal of it. you know how freeing it is to just let the lv swallow you whole."
"but i'm not letting it." Murder responded, "it's gone."
"from your stats, maybe." Killer said, "but it's not gone from your mind. you still remember it, and you'll continue to do so til the day you turn to dust. if you decide to indulge in it again, don't think they'll help you a second time."
"good thing i won't be." Murder responded.
"don't count on that." Dust told him, summoning several Gaster Blasters and firing them, his and Killer's themes both starting, in sync.
When Knife and Murder fought him in Underswap, their combined themes weren't nearly as well-combined as his and Dust's, not with how poorly they tended to work together. They didn't stand a chance here. Killer's knife started glowing red, and he summoned several sharp bones, making Dust's Gaster Blasters more difficult to dodge, and the fight quickly escalated from there, a blur of attacks and dodging. Bones whizzed past his skull, blasts scorched his clothes as they fired right next to him, and he took to targeting Knife, their mutual swiftness making them relatively even opponents.
Sure, Dust knew how Killer fought very well; they could fight each other with their eye sockets shut with how well they could intuit each other, something Murder and Knife lacked, but Killer didn't want Dust anywhere near an attack that could kill in one hit. Murder's Karmic Retribution still hurt Dust, Killer could see it eating away at his HP, his wounds glowing pink, but he was doing well dodging, especially with his wings once he used them. Flying around made him much harder to hit, and he alternated between several attacks to catch Murder off guard. The Karmic Retribution was more dangerous to Dust since the last time because of how much LV Dust had now, and Killer was torn between fighting Knife and helping Dust.
He looked away from Dust and Murder's fight to look back at Knife, blocking his knife with his own, the blades clashing, and as the edges slid off of each other, they quickly met up again. Killer turned his blade's edge glowing red, and he sliced clean through Knife's blade. Knife looked down at the broken knife, then at Killer, before throwing it off to the side and ducking as Killer slashed his knife at his neck.
Killer had to jump back as Knife got a katana from somewhere, and Killer had to switch to sharp bones to avoid Knife's increased range. Killer kept his knife glowing red, trying to cut through the sword to shorten it at least. Killer had to duck under a sudden orange Gaster Blaster blast, and he turned to the source, seeing Delta and Geno standing there. Killer knew about Delta from talking with the others, mainly Ink and Horror, and he knew this could be trouble.
"knife, murder!! what are you two doing here?!" Delta exclaimed.
"fighting!! what's it look like?!" Murder responded, ducking under several of Dust's attacks.
"dream told you you needed more time off to rest! lv can mess you up!" Delta insisted.
"and i'm fine!" Murder insisted.
Dust landed a powerful hit, and it sent Murder flying into a building, and then through the building. Dust was panting, looking weakened from all of the Karmic Retribution, and Killer made a mental note to punch Murder later.
"now you aren't!" Dust grinned, ducking under one of Delta's blasts.
"delta, i've got killer if you've got dust?" Geno said.
"ok, just be careful." Delta nodded, and Geno teleported closer to Killer, sending several bones at him.
Killer dodged them, countering with his own, and while he was avoiding hurting Geno too bad, he still wasn't going too easy on him. Geno was doing the same, some of his attacks landing, a pink glow around the wounds as the Karmic Retribution lowered his HP, but other than that, it was all for show. Geno kept pushing Killer back, isolating their fight, and then he got up close and personal, and they started fighting hand to hand while firing sharp bones at each other. They got close, and Geno slipped a folded up piece of paper into Killer's hand, causing him to smirk.
"thanks, pal." Killer whispered, slipping it under his fingerless glove for safe keeping before they continued fighting.
Killer looked back at Dust, seeing Delta fighting him while Murder sulked by a building, one of his legs broken by the looks of it, and Knife was wrapping a bandage around the limb, both of them visibly arguing as this happened. Killer snickered a bit at the sight of the two unable to get along like he and Dust could, but he was more focused on Dust fighting Delta. He exchanged a look with Geno, who nodded, and Killer pushed Geno back with blue magic, the skeleton maneuvering himself under some debris to trap himself, and Killer teleported over to Dust to help him. Horror wasn't kidding when he'd said Delta was a pain to fight, because he was.
Teaming up with Dust seemed to help him, and Delta was still a challenge, but that's what made it fun. Thankfully Horror showed up, but unfortunately he had someone with him. Epic was behind him, spamming Gaster Blasters, and Horror shot over them as he got hit by a... rubber chicken?... Killer blinked in confusion before deciding to attack Epic, Horror helping Dust with Delta, and Geno was still staying out of their way.
Horror's theme mixed in with his and Dust's, the three of them eventually herding Delta and Epic into each other, Killer using his Gaster Blaster after Dust and Horror each used blue magic on Epic and Delta. The black blast lit up the area, leaving Epic and Delta both trying to catch their breath, Delta shaking a bit as he held himself up. Killer saw a large purple explosion in the distance, and he could vaguely make out Nightmare and Reality fighting each other. Killer exchanged a glance with Horror and Dust, the three of them coming to the same agreement, and the three of them teleported closer.
Nightmare's theme was filling the area, and the fight was mostly at a draw. Reality couldn't really hurt Nightmare that much since his powers only made Nightmare stronger, and it was going in circles. It seemed like it was to distract Nightmare more than anything, which made sense, or maybe it was the other way around. Once Nightmare looked up and saw the three of them watching, he smirked and melted into a stream of black liquid, shooting up and enveloping them before teleporting them out of the AU.
Definitely a distraction, then. It wasn't the only one today.
