Hump Day! “ It is nice to be important, but it is important to be nice!” - The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) That is something really resonating with me today! Why do we have to always win or loose? Why does there have to be a top or bottom? Rich or Poor? I think at the end of the day the world we live in and beds we sleep in would feel much safer, happier and sweeter if we counted up and recalled all the nice things we said to each other and nice things we did for not reason other than to be nice. Maybe at least all of my audience could give that a try? I mean stop right now and think about someone you do not typical have nice things to say to and just say something simple and uplifting .... like “hey I know you don’t hear this enough as we all don’t, but I think your pretty awesome” or something more custom but even if it sounds “canned” it feels good and much better than being marginalized, objectified and worse ignored.
