Jashan-e-Shahi (Youm-e-Mehdi) is the day relating to His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi’s rank as the awaited Imam Mehdi (as). It falls on 15th Ramadan of every year and is celebrated with zeal and fervour by admirers of His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi around the world! 

We, the members of Mehdi Foundation International, are pleased to announce that this year, Jashan-e-Shahi will be celebrated on 31st May 2018. Be sure to join us on ALRA TV at 10:00 PM BST on 31st May 2018 for a special lecture by the official representative of HDE Gohar Shahi, Younus AlGohar.

I try to search for the salvation God placed for me But I fall short every time and turn to myself... lonely

I am trying to make peace with the distance set between us But I find it impossible O’ Mahdi, as if this distance were a stubborn blindness To see your face is like trying to unveil the gift of sight and it’s ruthless Please accept my attempts to see you and know that this servant’s heart holds sadness

There are two types of people I find and I am caught in between There is the heartbroken lover that can’t seem to shake your reign Then I see the one who knows you are coming, but still does the work seen I cannot rest, I’m too confused so I look to you for a way to be

So tell me, O’ Mahdi, where do I place myself? I want to have the love that breaks me But also the servitude that brightens the light God ignited in you perfectly I want your light to serve everyone and shake the rules of immorality So I think, to achieve this, I need to start working for you and get ready

I don’t need to know where you are, but just that you approve of my work And I vow to you O’Mahdi that if you disapprove, I’ll leave any fieldwork If my responsibilities now are a part of your disapproval, tell me, I’ll shirk If you need me elsewhere, show me the way and I’ll follow that life’s work

I try to find whatever may serve you best But I never know for sure and because of this... I will not rest

Searching and working in your absence keeps me stressed But I communicate with you anyways... I will not rest

I ask you where you are when I should be asking where am I? Am I really a servant for the Mahdi if I can’t always pray promptly? Am I really worthy if I don’t always remember you’re lonely? I talk a good talk but O’Mahdi mold this heart to your degree

Make this heart one that is soft and ready for acceptance Turn it into heated gold, which then you can show guidance Master and helper, speak to it and let grow my conscience   Be here for me because I’ve taken note of your brilliance

I need you and for the seconds I think I don’t, forgive me For each enlightenment, I try to thank you sincerely Because even when I think you’re not there, you are O’ Mahdi I do not let myself stop promoting you or your morality

This is our duty, to keep you alive and present And to do it in such a way that each work is done potent And there is never a time to slow down or become stagnant This is what you’re owed because we are yours to parent

I try my best and I know that is enough for you But still I feel short of what you are due... I always do

I am finding my place on the lover’s scale for you And I try so still I search... I always do
