Yangchen and Kavik handwriting headcanons
So at some point I was really into graphology and since my current hyperfixation are those two I thought I could offer some headcanons. Before we start there are a few things to note: 1) the characters are inspired by Asian and Inuit cultures so obv they wouldn't be using the Latin alphabet but the sources I'll be using are in English. I don't think it'll be that big of a deal tho since whatever analysis/headcanon I give would still be applicable to their respective languages and writing systems. 2) Graphology IS a pseudoscience and shouldn't be taken too seriously (literally this is purely for funsies) and 3) It's been a WHILE since I was last REALLY into it so I don't remember every single thing. That's why you should take whatever I say with a HEAVY pinch of salt.
(also wanted to provide some examples but I don't feel like scrolling for hours to find exactly what I mean so sorry no visual examples :( )
With that out of the way let's gooo~~
Yangchen
GENUINELY would have such an interesting handwriting from a graphology perspective
To start, I don't think she has a super distinct handwriting. It would change quite a bit depending on her mood/situation.
For the sake of simplicity I would like to put it into 2 categories: official paperwork handwriting and casual/hurried handwriting; and they'd be NIGHT AND DAY
OFFICIAL PAPERWORK: I think it'd be pretty "normal" cursive. Medium-sized letters, little to no slants in either direction, medium pen pressure (not too light, not hard) and letters would be pretty uniform/balanced and not too sharp not too round. Overall has a very "tidy" look with no excessive strokes.
BUT depending oh how stressed she is I do think this "uniformity" makes it TOO perfect and almost rigid. Also the letters would look quite "compressed" and more angular with a high pen pressure. Like you can tell she puts A LOT of pressure on herself and tries her best to look put together. For individual letters I do think she OCCASIONALLY has a bit of a loop in her O's (which could indicate deceit/being able to keep a secret) and would have "distinct" upper zone (so think like wavy/loopy upper part of a letter), which would indicate creativity/ sense of humor/ spirituality etc.
CASUAL HANDWRITING: it often doesn't look the same every time. VERY chaotic. Like the letters are usually medium-sized and kinda closer together. I do think slants and pen pressure change a lot, even in a single sentence. Despite it all it's still decently legible but still kinda hard to make out if you're not too used to it. I do think if she wrote casually it'd be more so in a personal journal to just sort of rant/express whatever she can't openly thus it prob wouldn't be particularly legible.
Kavik
I think he has a VERY typical "stem" handwriting. Medium to small "boxy" letters that are just VERY uniform. Small-ish but well-shaped middle zones (which would indicate someone who's very communication-oriented which we clearly see as he's literally working for the white lotus). Overall, there really isn't much loopy-ness in his writing but it does pop up (like Yangchen's). Also I do think the letters are kinda close together but not compressed.
Thank you for reading and if you find the topic interesting I recommend these sources:
Zones Hello there, welcome back…., if you haven’t read my older entries, this would be nice time to go read the very first blog in this seri
And remember - this is NOT an exact science just something fun and interesting to talk about. Hope ya'll have a great day :)
