really incredible that even a decade after you graduate from high school and no matter how much your relationship w your mom has improved and how much less angry she is now. she can say one thing that isnt even a big deal and it wasnt even mean and it wasnt even anything it was just "oh yeah we need to talk about money later when you have a minute". and it can make you start sobbing from stress 20 minutes after she says it because it's your mom and theres no one else in the world that can just make you start freaking the fuck out from the tiniest bit of 'im going to have to be vulnerable with her later'. due to the first 18 years of your life getting yelled at for the majority of your failures and fuckups. no one else who can just immediately bring your stress level from 0 to 100. cry at the drop of a hat.
