Trump is a nepo baby who got everything he wanted. His smart older sister even did his homework for him because he was too dumb and lazy.
He got several hundred million dollars from Daddy Fred and mostly squandered that on bad investments and stupid projects.
Importantly, the Trump Organization is a private company. Trump never had to cooperate with a board of directors or investors the way a president of a corporation does. So nobody has been around who could question Trump's ideas or actions.
So we have a narcissist running the country who feels accountable to nobody and nothing. That's a big problem in a democracy which depends on consultation and cooperation.
