                       "  𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 have some fun at least ?  “  rey asks , an obvious teasing tone in their words .  “  you are , aren’t you ?  “  they smile . it’s soft and not nearly as bright as it could’ve been . 

                            toy   xylophone   and   plastic   buckets   turned   upside   down   surround   young   child   on   the   ground.    josie   sits   in   front   of   her ,    a   ukulele   cradled   in   her   arms   as   she   plays   to   the   EXCITED   beat   that   comes   from   the   young   girl.     smile   stretches   across   features ,    as   she   hums   out   riffs   for   the   girl   to   copy.     barely   even   notices   front   door   locks   shift   until   the   man   stands   at   the   door   frame ,    watching   the   scene.     josie   smiles   up   at   him ,     ukulele   tunes   and   laughter   fading   out ,     ❝   hey   mr.   barnes ,    i   didn’t   even   notice   the   time ,   ❞    as   eyes   glance   at   clock   and   back   to   man ,     ❝    i   was   just   showing   kobik   some   of   the   musical   instruments   she   didn’t   know   she   had ,    but   don’t   worry ,    i’ll   get   this   all   cleaned   up   before   i   go !  ❞   

 the daily struggle  —  more so , an internal battle between deciding whether or not she was truly in reality. if she was , why on earth would a tape she didn’t remember appear ? better yet , why was she having extremely vivid dreams ? the thoughts which led to multiple late nights switching between paper work and trying to find a case filled with distraction. a heavy sigh of breath , fidgeting with the sunglasses placed on her desk before drawing her attention to a welcomed sound. “ is there something we can help you with today ? ” already heading in the direction of the visitor , “ or do you work here and i’ve just put my foot in my mouth ? because that happens way more often than i’d like. ”

                       𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹  𝗼𝗳  𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱  -  laura was a proper lady , afterall .  “  hey , do you want me to kill that guy for you ? he seems like he really sucks and i’d be more than happy to get rid of him for you . “ 

 blending in was the one certainty within the eternal beauties mindset , tethered in with the obvious avoidance of direct sunlight. it could also lead to inconveniences such as now , waving around a piece of brownie after forcefully ingesting. scowling beneath red lips while attempting to hide the sheer and utter distaste from her own special palette. “ I already had a big lunch. ” noticing a wandering eye on her , “ not that I need to explain myself , but I didn’t want to seem too rude. ”

                              she   knows   she   looks   foolish   ,   adorned   in   dirt   stained   garment   one   can   only   presume   to   be   an   old   wedding   dress   that   certainly   isn’t   hers   ,   despite   how   perfectly   it   hugs   every   inch   ,   every   curve   .     emily   is   not   yet   a   BRIDE   ,   that   much   is   crystal   clear   ,   but   she   certainly   looks   the   part   ;   if   the   bride   was   a   corpse   .     ❛   perhaps   it’s   vintage   ?   ❜     she   wonders   aloud   while   smoothing   out   wrinkles   ,   shooting   hades   a   nervous   smile   .     ❛   how   peculiar   . . .     nothing   a   proper   cleaning   &   sewing   can’t   fix   ,   i   suppose   .   ❜          /          @autocllave​
