Au where Dirk was a motorcycle racer, now mechanic who got replaced by Hal. Hal was made to surpass him and is constantly compared to Dirk, so much that he starts to hate him and doesn't even want to race anymore.
Hal shows up to rub in Dirk's face how much fun he's having and how much better than Dirk he is at racing. He makes Dirk do his maintenance just to spite him. He doesn't need it because he has a whole team to do that for him
Will probably have it so alpha Dave was a race car driver who died young. and Dirk looked up to him

When hal gets flustered he blue screens from overheating. When he gets this malfunction fixed he still flashes a blue screen because he knows you like it
