When you want to write the relationship progression scenes but you're stuck having to fill in plot to help get there:
This may sound silly but how do you actually find inspiration to write instead of just sitting and fantazing about a plot without actually writing anything?
I’m gonna write this one out because I have a writing advice tag:
The secret is this: I just daydream and type at the same time.
Straight up. I sit down in front of the google doc and just...stop thinking. Whatever I imagine them doing, I write. Even if it’s as simple as “Geralt pushes Jaskier up against a tree and kisses him silly.”
That scene can go on for three pages of very detailed description or that can be the entire thought while other scenes get more filled in. I just write out whatever ends up going through my head. When I’m done getting it onto the page I go over it again and add the details/do the polishing up.
If I’m filling a prompt for someone, I just let my imagination take over. The first cool idea I have that sticks is the one that gets written.
I’m extremely lucky to have a brain that works the way mine does, that makes writing so fun and easy. I’m also a very fast typer, which is a huge help.

Writing an epic fantasy is sucking the life out of me but only in the most pleasurable of ways, like a succubus.
I have so much anxiety rn... I don’t think posting the story made much of a difference yet 😂 It’s probs bc I’m shit at summaries
Question for Any FanFic Readers
Do you actually read the author's note of the fics you follow or do you skip straight to the story? I ask this because I do both depending on my mood. If I have been anticipating an update for theeeee longest time, I'm probably more prone to skipping straight to the story because, more often than not, I have to reread the previous chapter to connect all the dots. However, I try not to read stories when I'm crunched on time, otherwise I won't savor the moment lol I usually do read the A/N in the beginning and end, cause some of the writers I follow are truly going through some ish.
I say all this because I recently wanted feedback from my readers about my writing style and to get a feel of what intrigues them most (that way I can continue to give them content they want), so I created a questionaire of 6 inquiries at the end of my fic. However, my readers don't seem to have even seen my note. Lol I got a wonderful comment from one person, but it didn't answer any of my questions directly - plus they made a request! 😂 I appreciate all comments, but I'm just a bit disappointed.
