After food truck experimenting the past couple of months, I thought I would end the semester with a bang!  What's better that free food and music on my lunch break? ...and cooler than that, PUNCHD is a new IPhone app that puts paper loyalty cards on your phone. Austin is famous for its vast number of "trailer eateries" scattered about the city. What does it matter where the food is made as long as it's delicious? There are so many, the city of Austin actually dedicates a week where they push people to eat at a different trailer eatery every day. It's called Man Bites Dog, Austin's premier spot to get some of the best hot dogs you could ever imagine. At first, one would think you can only do so much to a dog, but when you visit Man Bites Dog, you will end up being quite surprised! So what's on the menu? You pretty much can't go wrong, but some of the "winners" are dogs like the Beer Brat, the Bandit and the Buffalo Hottie. For a decent price, you can enjoy any one of these great hot dog concoctions! Man Bites Dog can be found in the South Austin Trailer Park Eatery, right next to Torchy's Tacos (another great food spot) and only a few miles away from our community here at West Avenue!
