Wishing you blessings and magick for the Holiday Season! 💜🤗✨ Everywhere is celebrating the commercial event of Christmas this weekend and it brings to mind one of the best lessons I have learned in 30 years as a practising Witch. That my greatest power is not defined by how much I can get magickally and practically ... but by how much I am able to give away. And that doesn't mean giant gestures of expensive bought gifts... it is about the simple things - that only cost a little effort and positive energy... smiles, healing spells for peace and good will in our world... and volunteering to help and conserve our natural world - even if that means remembering to water your magickal herbs! Have a think about how you can show your best magickal power by giving something away for the betterment of others this holiday season. Here is one of my favorite holiday spells, we all tend to be travelling this time of year and roads are often busy even if we are staying at home in our own neighborhood ... so here is a spell for safe and happy holiday travel for you and your loved ones! ✨✨✨ SPELL TO ENSURE SAFE HOLIDAY TRAVEL: You will need: 1 handful of Lavender 1 handful of sage 1/2 a handful of crushed almonds 1 red candle 2 yellow pieces of paper red pen red ribbon 2 pieces of paui shell (aka 'kiwi stone' - a sacred travel charm) or clear quartz. 2 sprigs of rosemary. Light the candle and throw the lavender, sage and almond on a small fire (in a cauldron or fire pit paying attention to fire warnings in your part of the world.) Lay out the two pieces of paper and place 1 piece of shell or quartz in each and one sprig of rosemary. Fold them into two small parcels and tie with red ribbon. Now pass each package through the smoke of the incense as you say: "Mercury be with me (or whoever's travelling) As I travel over land and sea My (or whoever's travelling) safe journey is guaranteed" Now, if you can, mail one of the packages to your destination and leave one at home - if you can't mail one carry it on your person as you travel.
