Since the Kiddo and Fur babies are asleep early..I guess I will read some Manga to unwind from the day. I have very little personal time to myself so I might as well take advantage of it. The journey will test you past your breaking points most times, but it’s all worth it to see progress in your child. The only social life I have is with the kiddo and fur babies. I don’t know what balance is within my own private life. I have no privacy whatsoever. I have to plan simple outings like grocery shopping, and that’s a major feat in itself! We live on routine and repetition. I eat healthy and the kiddo has the opposite diet because there’s only very limited types of foods he’ll eat, even though I consistently try to introduce better foods for him. But hey..if you want to clean up puke by telling me to “make” him eat the better foods..be my guest!🤷🏾‍♀️ No one can ever be prepared to have a child with special needs but he’s treated like any other typical child. He is my best gift I’ve been blessed with. Imagine how challenging it is doing this on your own with no strong support system because people don’t understand, nor try to understand what you truly endure each day..I know God gives me strength to endure each moment. TRUE STORY!🐻 Today I had the “pleasure” of another person who was very ignorant and needed to educate themselves in regards to why my kiddo was having a meltdown. I don’t have to explain to you the difference between tantrums and an autism related meltdown. I was already on edge from being up all night and still haven’t slept yet. A word of advice..NEVER and I do mean NEVER EVER bypass the parent and speak directly to the child to give your two cents that wasn’t asked of you anyways. You’re liable to get your feelings deeply hurt when I’m in that state.
