Izzy knew that the Club was practically still spinning on its axis from Sutton’s death, theoretically what was supposed to be Maddox’s death but inevitably took his wife, essentially signing the man’s death certificate. That was something else to worry about entirely though. Now, she’s heard rumors of an issue with Aurora and her daughter being attacked and Izzy is left thinking if everything is connected or if they are separate events all together. Seems like a job that’s not for her. She finds Aurora in the Clubhouse, Izzy waiting for Ryder to go back home together. Izzy wasn’t exactly considered trustworthy enough to be alone too long these days, which is understandable. “Hey,” Izzy says gently, rubbing her lips together for a moment. “I just wanted to check-in, see how you’re doing— I heard…” Better to focus on Aurora’s problems rather than her own.

Between Seth and himself, he’d definitely thought it had been a bad idea when Aurora wanted to Prospect. Not only was she young and quite small but she would also have a kid tacking around with her in the Club. Not that it was a bad thing but it was something that Seth had to remember when assigning the girl jobs. He’d been pretty fucking honest with the woman, letting her know that he wasn’t going to give her any breaks, she had to work just as hard as everyone else. However, he’d also be the one who would hang out with her kid, if she needed someone to. He wasn’t great at it and as soon as someone would notice, he’d pass the little one off to the Sirens to be taken care of. The nice thing, which he figured attracted the woman to the life with the Primordials is the family that came along with it. They were truly a small community that actually cared for one another. “Ror,” he says from the booth of Mama Kay’s, admittedly his favorite restaurant in town, which Aurora coincidentally worked at. “You seen the fuckin’ paper anywhere? If that old bitch has it again, I swear to fuckin’ God.” Seth loves to do the daily crossword in the paper in Mama Kay’s and read the stories inside nearly every day— so today, well, it was no different.

 the  feeling  of  complete  uselessness  was  perhaps  the  best  way  to  describe  his  past  week .     especially  so  as  a  man !     were  he  a  raven  perhaps  things  would  be  a  simpler  matter  but  on  two  feet  ------  he  pauses  in  his  melancholy  thought ,  hearing  a  ringing  &  heart  warming  giggle .   quickly  pivoting  on  his  feet ,  his  eyes  dart  around  hopefully  for  the  source  until  it lands  on  a  girl ,  golden  curls  &  fair  skined ,  kneeling  by  a  duck  pond .     he  cannot  see  her  face  &  his  brows  crinkle  his  forehead .          ❛    aurora ?    ❜           its  a  mystified  whisper  at  first ,  just  to  himself .     diaval  then  straightens  with  an  inhale  &  the  second  time  he  says  her  name  it  comes  out  a  loud  call  to  her .          ❛    aurora !    ❜           he  hopes  she  turns ,  prays  to  anyone  that  will  listen  she  turns  around  at  the  name .

“ no, no, no, ” juliette nearly shouted, unbuttoning her blazer to cover a binder. “ these pages aren’t laminated yet. i can’t run a presentation without proper paperwork ! ” after a glance around, she noticed a familiar face. “ you ! i know you. ” in some convoluted way, didn’t she ? her roommate’s brother’s friend or something like that. “ do you have an umbrella ? ”
