study techniques for every style
Ciao, everyone! Like I mentioned in this post, there are different learning styles. This quiz will help you determine your own style and also give you many studying tips, which I thought it would be helpful for both me and you to have them collected here. Enjoy♥

First of all, according to that quiz, there are three learning types; auditory, visual and tactile. Now, I am a visual and, let me tell you, the tips it gave me were pretty helpful and I really want to use them when the school year starts. But anyhow...
1. auditory- basically you learn and remember things by listening to them.
tips for auditory learners;
choose to sit in the front of the class
read your homework/ notes e.t.c out loud or to a friend
ask someone to ask you questions regarding what you learnt
record yourself reading what you need to learn and listen to it many times
2. visual- visuals like me, learn things by reading or viewing them.
tips for visual learners;
sit in the front of the class (yes, like the auditory learners)
flashcards (here’s a site I use, it’s also an app)
create pictures in your head of the things that you learn
write down key-words
re-write your notes
highlight definitions/ formulas/ names/ dates with a different color (e.g, blue for formulas, green for names e.t.c)
avoid distractions
3. tactile- tactile learners need physical movements to understand stuff.
tips for tactile learners;
take breaks
chew gum or eat specific snacks to remember things
trace words with your finger to learn their spelling
tap your pencil or your foot/ hand in a special pattern
use your computer to type what you learn
