#august draws#comics#printer is running low in yellow and blue so there is no way im printing today w good results#i couldnt bear to wait to post this until after the printer is refilled and i can see how the colors look on paper#so im posting now. enjoy what ive spent the past 3-4 weeks working on!!#im extremely extremely proud of the style and paneling and coloring and cartooning i did for this one!! ive leveled up so hard :D#also speaking of comics i KNOW i promised to post that excerpt from living sea#but technically there are a lot of flaws with the lettering and the art#and honestly i would like to rewrite the dialogue a bit which probably means redoing some pages' panels#like i did good stuff re: composition and color palette but im just not as proud of it as i thought i would be#soooooooo living sea fans yall have to wait. sorryyy#anyway this is the most embarrassing thing ive admitted to an audience in quite some time lmao#regrettably the monk has stopped being as effective for me bc i realized#(as with all other self-imposed methods of motivation) that i made the rules up and do not have to listen to myself. lol#HOWEVER i have come away with some good habits and i have also discovered that setting 'clock in'/'clock out' alarms for Working Hours#really really helps me#its why i managed to get this comic done at all. so never fear i am actually doing preddy good at working on creative projects lately :)#next comic i have planned is the story of how i learned to drive stick shift
