watched project hail mary it was okay
#tumblr mutuals you were so right about this one#ohhhh my god the people yearn for ALIEN FRIEND#AUGHHHGHGH#also the USE OF COLOR....#quite simply one of the most beautiful live action films i've seen in recent memory#ghrgrgrgrhgrhgrhr IT LOOKS LIKE TECHNICOLOR IT'S SO FUCKING PEAK#THE SHOT COMPOSITION#THE WRITING...#THE WAY IT DIDN'T HAVE A FUCKING DOOMER ENDING#IT'S SO PEAK BATMAN#i was weeping at multiple points in this movie#also ryan gosling did an absolutely AMAZING job in his role#(even though i thought he was ryan reynolds until i checked imdb)#(tells you how much i know about celebrities)#but i love that for like most of the movie he managed to channel the spirit of an exhausted middle school teacher#genuinely he was born to play this part. i doubt it but i wonder if he did any similar roles#ANYWAY this film was beautiful. it reminded me a lot of older space movies and i cannot state enough how much of a compliment that is#project hail mary#poppedcorn
