Having been audited many times over the years, it would have been of great help if the auditors had taken the time to brief us on what they were going to do, why and how this would be done, and what our role in the process would be.
Los auditores suelen verse dentro de las organizaciones como “los malos de la película”, cuyo objetivo es el de “atacar” o criticar las cosas que hacemos y buscar en ellas cualquier fallo para “destruirnos”.
La realidad es completamente diferente, y parte de nuestro trabajo como auditores es cambiar esa visión errónea que se tiene. Dicho cambio se logra mejorando la comunicación que tenemos con nuestros clientes y, más particularmente, con las personas a ser auditadas. Como buenos líderes, debemos mantener informados a todas las personas afectadas por una auditoría, manteniendo un ambiente de seguridad y de control sobre las actividades a realizar.
En el siguiente artículo se dan algunas recomendaciones útiles que podemos utilizar para mejorar la comunicación con los auditados y que recomiendo poner en práctica.
