Please consider a young and scared Starlight Frost living on the streets of District 87, hungry, in pain, hasn't had a roof over his head since he escaped the facility.

Imagine him dealing with the pain of his headaches all alone. He's curled up in an alley, wracked with pain and he can't stop the destruction he's causing. He'd probably try to find a place to hide that had the least amount of risk. "I won't break anything here." "If I stay here, I won't hurt anyone." And ride it out.

I detailed my personal head canons for how he met Kremy, I think that still stands. In OUAW, Kremy is 42 and Frost is in his 20s-30s (thanks for being vague, Derek), so he could be anywhere between 10-20 years younger than Kremy. So consider him being around 16 when he finally meets Kremy (in his early 30s perhaps) and is taken in.

He's just a sad and scared kid with no memories of how he ended up on the street. Kremy sees that he has crazy powerful abilities that cause him a lot of pain and is like "I gotta help this kid." He has a background in Chem Tech, so he knows he's probably one of the few people who actually could. Doesn't help that Frost is avoidant of hospitals, for reasons he won't disclose.

In episode 3, Frost mentions that Kremy took him to the Starlight Lounge, so I'll amend my previous hc because I didn't think the Starlight existed yet. Guess it did.

I was thinking Frost started out washing dishes. Kremy was like, "Alright, you gotta earn your keep." (But he doesn't really mean it. He's putting on a show for Gideon, who was dubious about the whole thing.) Frost was a lot like Meela in the early days. Scared and apologetic, didn't want to be left alone. He broke a lot of dishes in those days. Kremy worried the kid's head was gonna explode with how stressed he got over it. Kremy insisted it was fine, but Frost always worried he was going to get kicked to the curb.

Been watching and reading You Shou yan recently (thanks IDV) and couldn't help but think of a shiguang AU for it!!! (Hence this doodle) It's been a bit since I made this but I realized I never shared the concept here lol. This is something I shared on Xitter so if this sounds familiar it's because it's been posted before. XD

My idea is that LG is a mountain god that watches over the mountain range (which one I have no clue) while CXS is a straw dog that is often at the brink of disintegrating due to his low hatred for humanity.

I like to think that LG and CXS had a relationship established like Shanque and Chogou, but unfortunately due to CXS having low hatred for humanity he disintegrated at one point. Though due to straw dogs having the ability to reincarnate, CXS does but at the cost of losing his memories, so LG vowed to keep some hatred for humanity in CXS in order to keep CXS from leaving LG again.

Maybe CXS's anger of the person who abandoned him (cough cough his parents which are in this case his creators cough cough) is the only thing keeping him alive ever so slightly, similar to chogou.

Idk I lwk didn't think too far into this, it's just a silly idea I had. BUT if they were in the world of You Shou Yan ( fabulous beasts), LG would probably get mistakened for shanque and CXS gets mistakened for Chugou VERY often XD

ALSO!!! Since mountain gods can spread flowers around and help plans grow, LG's signature flower on the mountain is forget me nots so most mountain gods know where he's been if they see a bunch of them around!!! :3

The little daisy on CXS was definitely gifted to him by LG 💜💜💜

And a little addition, QL would be a moon rabbit like Tuye :3

On another note I kind of wanna dive deeper into the vampire starstruck because I can??? Perfectly envision it if that makes sense?

Very Supernatural-like, Colt and Ryland were born into the art of Hunters. However as they grew and their talents blossomed, each had a vastly different expertise. Ryland was more fitting towards Lore/Research based hunts, discover what pissed off the thing going bump in the night and figure out if it was worth stopping or just... redirecting.

Meanwhile Colt liked the chase more. Running across rooftops, breaking and entering, more of the hands on process. He'd help his brother with research of course, all while whining and groaning about how boring the internet is and "Oh look MORE AI bullshit!"

Each had their own real life jobs. No one paid the reaper at the end of the night after all, or awarded the bringer of ends. Colts is, of course what he does best, a stuntman, whereas Ryland works in a forensics lab. One of them had to hide any evidence of their wrongdoing, after all. (His job is liable to change, I'm spittballing this shit-)

Anyways cut to Colts coworker. One Tom Ryder. That isnt his real name, of course, But neither Colt nor Ryland can find anything on the man.

And Colt has looked. Extensively.

Tom Ryder is... essentially Colt's boss? And Colt swears up and down that there is something off about that man, or he isn't a Seavers.

Ryland likes to remind him that Colt is actually a Grace, to which Colt ignores him in favored of trying to place Tom under a label of big bad of the week.

Blah blah blah time passes and Ryland is actually amused by Tom a little bit. They grow closer, and Ryland developes a little crush on the man. Things are good! There havent been many creatures rearing their heads lately, Ryland got a Raise, and Colt has been practicing for this "Crazy awesome stunt, Ryland, you have to come see it!"

A chance to see his brother and his crush? Yes please. Only, when he gets to the shoot, there's a nervous energy in the air. People are snappy and annoyed at one another, Tom is no where to be seen, and Ryland can barely contain his gasp as he watches his brother perform smaller versions of the stunt planned for this shoot.

And here is where... it all goes wrong. Because the small stunts work perfect, everything goes to plan and Colt is confident. But when the big event comes, the line snaps and Ryland watches, frozen, as his twin plummets to the ground.

The sound of bones snapping is something he'll never be able to forget.

The rest of the day is a blur. A hospital ride, scans after scans with one outcome at the end.

Colt will never walk again. He'll be lucky if he survives the night. It's days of agonizing waiting, wondering if today will be the day Colts body and brain gives out. "He's a fighter", the doctors will tell Ryland during visiting hours. "He'll get through this."

Only a week passes, before they call with the news.

Think about it: whole respective cast voiced by one single respective guy. Featuring a dude who seems normal at first but is truthfully DERANGED as he gets stuck with an inhuman entity originally carrying harmful intentions for the human. But they end up being best friends, and they hate each other, and they probably want to make out but don’t have interest in an actual romance. The rejected antagonist is also a discarded/lost entity associated with black and the colour yellow, and is visually missing parts of himself, like how John is explicitly just a fragment of a more powerful entity.
