Okay.. MIGHT do the crossover since majority wins, but we gotta determine a few things this time FIRST THING'S FIRST

Demo!Steve and Cannon Steve swap places (so do their Will’s, but they’re in Cali, so—), and (ofc) chaos ensues.

Canon:

Demo!Steve trying to figure out wtf just happened and why both his bfs (and his 2nd emotional support lesbian) just vanished.

Everyone else trying to figure out why Steve suddenly has a shit load of scars and is 5 inches taller. (Nancy has pulled out a shotgun)

Later, Eddie short-circuits after Steve freaking Harrington of all people hands him a Metallica tape and says he “figured that it would help”. He was right, much to Eddie’s annoyance. Also, when the hell did Harrington start a punk phase? And why is he wearing a near copy of Eddie’s vest???

Meanwhile, in my Demo!Steve AU:

Steve calmly comes to the conclusion that he’d somehow gotten another concussion, and was hallucinating. Because why else would Barbra Holland be standing in his kitchen with an under-cut and the most disappointed look he had ever received on her face. And she’s wearing a tank top and combat boots? Definitely hallucinating.

The front door slams open, and two familiar figures rush into the kitchen.

“Oh, my god,” Eddie Munson gasps, staring at a now very confused Steve with an increasingly more horrified expression. “He got turned back into a prep!!!”

Before he can elaborate on his statement, Eddie is hit in the back of the head by a very annoyed, and mildly offended, Billy Hargrove, causing a yelp of surprise that Billy promptly ignores.

“The hell was that for???” Eddie protests, shooting a withering glare at the blond. “It’s true, isn’t it?!?!”

“I told you I’d do that the next time you said some dumb shit,” Billy huffs, “That qualifies.”

“Like hell it does! Just look at him!” Eddie gestures wildly to Steve, “He’s a prep again! All my hard work has been undone!”

“Our boyfriend is replaced by some weird version of himself, and that’s your first concern?!?!”

“Yes!” Eddie shouts, waving his hands around frantically with no purpose at all, “I have my priorities straight! I’d be hysterical, but one of us has to have some mental stability in this relationship, and it certainly isn’t going to be either of you!”
