If you constantly have to self degrade or fish for reassurance just to get compliments from other women, that doesn’t automatically convince me you’re genuinely attractive. A lot of women are socially conditioned to be overly nice, validating, and comforting toward each other, so I take certain compliments with a grain of salt.
