Dicks heart near stopped when he heard the sos come through the comms. His baby bird. How long had it been since he’d heard that voice in more than brief snippets?
But then- longer still had it been since Tim called for help.
“N responding.” He replied, trying to keep grim concern from his voice. “Will update on arrival, O. Eta three minutes.” With that, he was on his bike, taking off towards the location provided.
Okay, maybe he shouldn’t have fought an assassin named after a snake on top of Wayne Enterprises, but to be fair. Said assassin was trying to break in to steal some very private tech. So it wasn’t like he had much of a choice in the matter.
Tim was a good fighter, especially when he was on the ground. But he was no Dick Grayson. He wasn’t a graceful or naturally flexible fighter. Heck, he worked very hard for years to get to the level of skill that he was currently at. But even then there was the occasional slip-up.Â
Which is how he ended up falling from Wayne Enterprises. He managed to save himself with his grappling hook, but Copperhead managed to inject him with some kind of poison and he just couldn’t hold on any longer.  Â
Not only were his insides burning up, but he managed to fall about 9 feet before landing on his left side. He didn’t know what hurt from the fall, or what was the poison at this point. But he did know that he needed help.Â
