He tilted his head in the other direction. "Not you. Knowing means you can use it. Knowing gives you power."

Interesting phrasing. Intentional, like many of the veiled hints Cole had been endeavoring to give her. Brow wrinkling in thought, Athim considered Cole, the way his eyes glittered with words he could not speak.

"That power doesn't put me in danger," she thought aloud. "But it could endanger someone else, or something else." Her brow smoothed as realization dawned. "He thinks I can stop him."

Cole didn't respond, but his chest had stopped moving. Holding his breath.

"Is he right? Could I?" Not something Solas told him, not something he felt. A question Cole could answer.

He nodded. "You're like him. A match, in every way."

Athim chewed her lip. Solas was determined, so determined that he had kept her from knowledge that could have helped her, helped the Inquisition.

I walk the Din'anshiral. There is only death on this journey.

Her jaw stiffened. She wasn't going to let that happen.

Day 1: Athim Lavellan (she/her), one of my characters from Dragon Age Inquisition. (1 hour & a half)

Trespasser choices: Leliana is Divine, she didn't sacrifice the Chargers (no one is killing Krem in this house), she is looking for Solas'redemption & didn't disband the Inquisition.

Finally making a post for Athim Lavellan! Started playing Inquisition again now that @aubergion has finally bought it and started sharing cutie Imera Adaar with the world :P

So here’s Athim! (P much all of those pics are captioned btw.) A warrior Lavellan who seriously hates pretty much every aspect of this whole Inquisition thing but is starting to pull together this “Herald of Andraste“ act because hey, if people believe he’s divine, then maybe they’ll shut up and follow him, and this whole Breach thing will be over sooner. What happens to Thedas after is not his concern as long as his clan doesn’t die to demons and fire. Will his clan even want him back after if they hear about him playing up this whole “chosen by the Maker“ thing? ... Well, Athim will worry about that part when he’s sure they’re not in danger of getting wiped out.

He’s right before the Skyhold transition and currently doesn’t entirely like *anyone* for extended periods of time, which might change with Bull. As you can see he’s gone to Redcliffe, but the whole thing reeks of “shem tevinter trap what the fuck what the fuck“ so he’s thinking he’s going to maybe cut his losses here (he’s recruited Clemence, that Tranquil, and will probably talk to Leliana or someone about seeing if they can smuggle anybody else out quickly), go bring the templars to heel (they’re less than animals, but Athim is a hunter-- he can handle beasts), and see if the magister can be strung along long enough to be handled some other way. He’s already getting major inklings of this whole Big Bad Behind The Curtain thing but the attack on Haven is still gonna be a fun time after.
