I do, I have so so many. I think everyone does, and a lot of peoples’ are better than mine but I guess we’re loyal to what we create; even if it’s just one dream to another.

For me, I’ve loved the idea of the BladeBreakers being multicultural. I wanted to do the same thing with the Saint Shields and from there my headcanon just totally grew.

I had this idea that instead of a single clan, the Saint Shields have sects expanding around the world: people who know the truth about bitbeasts and have the powers necesary to control and seal them and make sure bitbeasts are safe and happy. These different clans span all over the nation, and their locations are sacred. The Saint Shields have this rock, right? This sacred piece of land. And then Max’s mom has one but it’s from somewhere else and we see pictures of someSaint Shields-like people wearing their colors. These rocks aren’t one and the same and they didn’t come from the same place. There’s sacred land where bitbeasts are born and held and released from all over the place like Russia, Mexico, Australia, jungles, mountains, beaches, under the sea, anywhere. And the Saint Shields people surround themselves in that magic and work with it; people of the Bitbeasts, so to speak.

Being a Saint Shield I think is a power and an identity handed down from generation to generation; and when the time comes thatt theyir powers are needed, they select their strongest to band together. And that gives us the team we have today. I love the idea that Dunga is Hispanic, of another color to go with his skin tone in the series. I really like that, they didn’t have any representation and that made me sad. Ozuma I’ve accepted as Caucasian, Japanese, any number of things… I don’t have my mind made up. Mariam and Joseph, and this is me being biased and favoritist and loyal to my Great North, but I like the idea of them being Canadian but mixed with Native American ancestry. Natives of the Americas never had any representation either and that drove me up the wall. A large part of Canada today is composed of a great mixed ancestry.

So back to the power. The Saint Shields, their different, secluded communities around the globe, have been created to be guardians of bitbeasts and to kee the bitbeasts safe, and to keep the world in balance. That’s why they were called into action after Tyson and Tala very nearly murdered the world with the sacred bitbeasts. The elders were concerned and thus, sent their best to investigate. Contrary to them in the show, I kinda see them being as helpful to bitbeasts as harmful. And in completing this great mission, they get to become one with their own; they learn so much and become people of the world, worthy warriors when they all go home to their respective clans. Even though they exist in different places, they believe in the same things. They’re a family, and to them, family is forever. The powers they have, to seal bitbeasts, but also to release them; to make bitbeasts ethereal, and also physical; to breathe life into them so they can be touched and held. They work with bitbeasts to defend them; from men in black, scientists out to discover secrets they ought not, things like that. Very secretive society; modern, and not in the dark ages like some people picture (they don’t bathe in rock quarries or have mudhouses; at least not all of them, I’m sure some do), but well-protected. These clans have friends in all the right places. Trespassers don’t enter these guarded places. When they do, there’s a good reason.

So, this is where I kinda pictured they came from: what happens after V-Force, I don’t know. I have a lot of ideas for that too, but I’m sure there are a lot of opinions and people have headcanons that state otherwise from what I think here. While I don’t particularly want a bunch of people arguing about my ideas, I hope you all have a great time imagining your own!

Michael likes to pretend he doesn’t have an accent. He’s trained himself pretty well to make sure that Texas drawl doesn’t bleed through, but there are certain words that it just happens on and it leaves him utterly mortified, and if he goes home and stays for a week or so, it’s much harder to hide his accent.

Rick and Eddy have similar accents. Both were born and raised in NY, though Eddy’s from Manhattan and Rick’s from Brooklyn. Emily is from Virginia, which has an interesting accent. It’s a mixture of both north and south, since it’s right on the border of both. Steve is from Florida. He says both like bowlth.

The Russians have only recently learned English. Out of the four of them, Ian and Tala picked up English the quickest. Ian’s accent, while clearly still there, isn’t as heavy as the older members of the team. Tala’s accent can be as thick as his thighs when he’s pissed off, but otherwise, it’s noticeable but understandable. Bryan has the thickest accent our of the four of them, and English still isn’t his strongest suit, but he’s trying.

Robert’s English is impeccable, though his accent when he speaks it is noticeable. Johnny, when upset/excited, can almost be completely unintelligible because he’s talking fast and everything runs together. His accent doesn’t help things. Giancarlo has a strong accent, which he believes only enhances his charm. Who doesn’t love an Italian accent, after all. Olivier’s is soft, almost musical sounding. His pitch and tone is androgynous.

White Tiger X are much like the Russians. Rei’s accent isn’t as noticeable, since his English is better and he’s been out into the world more. Gao’s is the thickest, with Lee not too far ahead of him. Kiki’s is like Rei’s as he’s spent more time around in the city and listening to foreigners. Mariah’s isn’t as thick as Lee’s, because she’s determined to be more proficient in English.

Although he tries to hide it, Mystel’s got a bit of a British accent. He picked it up from traveling with his father, who’s from England ( his mother is from Egypt ).

Brooklyn has trained himself to not have an accent. So has Kai, to a certain extent. Sometimes you can still hear a hint of Russian or Japanese lit to things.

Ming-Ming is from a Korean-American family. Although she doesn’t have an accent when she speaks English, she certainly has one when she speaks Korean and Japanese.

Max, as I’ve said before, has an interesting accent. He’s lived all over the united states for months or even years at a time, so it’s all smashed together and you can’t quite tell where he’s from. Sometimes he’ll even have a bit of a Japanese accent when speaking English for certain words if he speaks only Japanese for a certain amount of time. He also has an accent when he speaks Japanese. He tended to get teased by Japanese kids and American kids before he found friends in the BBA.

Takao’s accent, surprisingly, is less noticeable than Hiromi’s. Beyblading and traveling around the world really helped his English skills, which weren’t very good to start with. Kenny doesn’t have a strong accent when he speaks English, but Daichi can be hard to understand at times, since he’s still learning English and the pronunciations. Hitoshi no longer has an accent.
