It had only been a couple of minutes since she’d parted ways with Juliet Florian, but since then, it was like every other word that ran through Freddie’s mind was the girl’s name. Damn was she pretty. Who needed abs when Juliet was the whole damn package in every single other way? She’d always been a fan, but now, there was no denying it -- she was her biggest fan, and Freddie wasn’t the type of girl to sit back and let someone else have what she wanted. No, she needed to find Lucas Belrose and find him now to inform him that his time with her soulmate was up. She’d woken up this morning Freddie Facilier, but now, in that moment, she was no more and no less than Miss Steal Yo Girl. “Yo, someone seen Lucas? I got a bone to pick with him,” she said to the first person in sight.

Dizzy wasn’t sure what was going on but people were acting weird. Several pairs of her friends seemed to have fallen head over heels in love out of nowhere - even seemingly breaking off their existing relationships for it. Now Dizzy didn’t know a whole lot about love, admittedly, but she was pretty sure this wasn’t the way it worked. She just wasn’t sure what was happening or how to fix it. “Please tell me you’re not randomly in love with anyone,” She said as she spotted a familiar face, hoping they would still be sane.

Kiara sat on a bench, staring down at the plate of cheesecake that she’d gotten who knew how long ago now. She should just get rid of it, after all, it didn’t look like she’d be sharing desserts with anyone anytime soon. Her pout grew more pronounced, feeling her heart sink as she tried to no avail to push the thought of Kovu making hearteyes at another girl from her mind. Her head jerked up when she heard someone approach, quickly lifting a hand to her eyes. “You ever get something because it sounded interesting and then you’re just.... not sure if you really wanna try it? Kinda where I’m at with this piece of cheesecake. It’s all yours if you want it.”

Mark wasn’t sure what was happening. He wasn’t used to feeling much, and he especially wasn’t used to feeling much about anyone that wasn’t Leilani. Just the other day Andy had accused him of pre-rejecting him and he’d felt kind of bad, but he thought it was just because he’d made things awkward with one of the only friends he actually had. But it must have been because he actually liked her.

Tegan smiled at their phone, excited to get Melody's surprise going but they were stuck and needed help. They looked up and smiled at the nearest person "Alright so you know the DJ booked for tonight?" They asked but didn't even wait for a response before continuing from how excited they were "Well he's a buddy of mine and said I can sing a song before his last set but I'm stuck." Tegan confessed frowning at the thought of not finding the right song to let Melody know just how much they loved her. "I have the perfect beat but I can't find the words and Melody deserves the best" they trailed off while thinking of their new muse.

The festivities were probably the one thing that had taken Mal the longest to adjust to in the move to Auradon. Even still with as many as she’d gone to, it still felt weird to be out in the thick of it all, but today was a little bit easier on her because all she had to worry about was having a great day with her best friend and new boyfriend -- a recipe for a perfect day, in her opinion. And so far she was proven right, and the three of them had been all smiles. It was a relief, honestly; she had thought that there would be a little tension between her and Evie after that nasty little piece of gossip. Mal’s heart nearly burst with affection at how great of a friend she had, truly the best to be able to wave off such a horrible situation and move on as if it hadn’t even happened in the first place. A short sigh was released as Mal reached for Ben’s hand, finding the small bit of connection surprisingly comforting while in such a large crowd. She turned to flash him a smile, a silent gesture of how happy she was to be here with him, when she saw the brightly colored booth behind him. “Oh, is that where they have all the different foods?” She asked, not waiting for an answer before taking Evie’s hand in her free one. “Let’s go see what they have!”

“Oh my gosh, you’re never going to believe what I just found!” Riley exclaimed as she bounced over to Skylark, dessert in hand. They’d been taking turns going up and buying something from every food stand, splitting things among their friends, who came and went as they pleased, so they didn’t get too full to finish their passports, and she’d had the honor of choosing their Camelot Heights dish. Good thing, too, because if the others had passed on avocado lime cheesecake for something lame like cranberry turkey stuffing, she might have cried. “How delicious does this look? I can’t wait to try it, here, I got us forks,” Riley gushed as she set the plate down on the bench between them.

While King’s Day wasn’t exactly her favorite event of the summer, the day was still turning out to be pretty fun for Mary Kate, especially once she’d bumped into Noa. Not that she’d ever admit that to him; she’d rather die than let him know he was the best part of her day. Still, dragging him around for a bit before he inevitably ditched to go hook up with some other girl was kind of nice. What wasn’t nice? This stupid avocado lime cheesecake she’d bought. She’d snapped a picture of it for her avocado-loving mom before taking a bite of it, her face twisting in disgust as she swallowed. “Ugh, this is awful, you eat it,” Mary Kate insisted as she attempted to shove it into Noa’s mouth instead, nearly dropping it as her eyes moved from the cake in her hands up to his face. Damn. This boy managed to do weird things to her heart on a regular day, but something about this moment felt different, like just looking at him was enough to make her legs feel like jelly and like there were butterflies exploding in her stomach.
