This is my opinion about my favourite Mysticon ships, in order from most to least favourite. I am only counting the ones that involve one of the Mysticons themselves, as they are the most important ones in the show. I’m also only focusing on confirmed ships. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion. For this, I am considering how they play off each other, as well as how their relationship developed.

1. Kitty/Zarya: They are a very cute couple, and I love the idea of childhood friends getting back together. They are a good match for each other, and their romantic subplots are interesting. They especially deserve this spot because even though I’m not a huge romance person, I still find myself watching episodes for Moonboon.

2. Em/Kasey: They are a pretty good couple, with both of them being sensitive and caring. I also like how it took Em didn’t open up to Kasey right away after the Pink Skulls’s betrayal of the Mysticons, as it would have been easy for the writers to have Em fall for Kasey right away. I also like how Kasey immediately regretted betraying the Mysticons when he was caught. I personally think that the thing that brings this lower than Moonboon is Kasey being fairly bland as a character.

I was thinking about the time when Queen Goodfey stopped Arkayna and Malvaron from kissing, and thought of one reason why she didn’t like them together. It’s simply the fact that she was turned to stone, and wished her daughter didn’t grow up. 

It was enough of a surprise to find out that she had another daughter, and she didn’t have a lot of time to process Arkayna being a Mysticon. Seeing Arkayna about to kiss Malvaron was another reminder that Arkayna was growing up, and she didn’t want that, so she put a stop to it.
