∆ This is why it feels restricted, even when there is feeling

Venus square Saturn usually doesn’t explode or create obvious drama at the beginning. It feels serious from the start, almost heavier than expected, even if the attraction is clearly there. Venus naturally wants warmth, reassurance, and closeness, while Saturn instinctively slows things down and keeps emotional control.

For that reason, the connection doesn’t move at the same pace for both people. One person may feel ready to open up, while the other is still holding back, not because they don’t care, but because they are cautious. Over time, this difference in pace can create insecurity. The Venus person might start wondering if they are asking for too much, while Saturn believes they are simply being responsible or realistic.

No one is openly rejecting the other, yet affection can begin to feel measured, almost evaluated. When the aspect is tight, the tension becomes more noticeable, and if Saturn falls in the 7th, 5th, or 8th house, themes of commitment and intimacy become serious quickly. Venus square Saturn can create something stable in the long run, which may initially feel heavy or burdensome. Furthermore, it often happens that the conditions during which the attraction starts aren't favourable. It's all about timing.

∆ How I realized it was about timing

When I was at university, this guy realized he liked me before I let myself believe it was possible. He showed interest clearly. I liked him too - a lot, but I didn’t act on it. I was extremely shy, but it was deeper than that. I have natal Venus square Saturn. I had been bullied for years and truly believed I was unattractive. Also, I didn’t know I was autistic at the time and I only knew I felt different and unsure of myself. For that reason, I didn’t trust his interest. I assumed I was misreading it and pulled back instead of stepping forward.

Ten years later, I have been the one who reached out, as I am more aware and less afraid. He responded warmly and I detected there was still something there. But Houston, we have a problem: he’s in a relationship now.

To sum it up: in my experience, Venus square Saturn hasn’t meant a lack of feeling. It has meant misaligned timing. When he was ready, I wasn’t. When I was ready, he wasn’t free. The attraction was real. The moment just didn’t happen at the same time.

ANCESTORS IN THE ASTROLOGICAL CHART:

This is a study that is ongoing and stems from personal and astrological understanding. Please don't take everything I say as the law for your path. Astrology is a nuanced tool for the whole chart to fully encapsulate the energy that changes all the time. This is solely an interpretation.

Original ask - Can you see the location and ancestry inside the chart? (Summary)

To answer your question, yes, but that is a deeper interpretation with correlations to certain countries' energy, connections to certain sides more than the other, sometimes I can see more ancestral connections to lands. Asteroids like Africa or America tell a story more directly with the help of planets and signs. There is only so far you can go, but I'll do my best to give my version of how ancestry and ancestors show up in the chart.

I'll use myself as an example.

NATAL

I guess you can say I'm Soulaan 😂. I have Saturn energy connected to them as well as blatant Sagittarius. I come from an extremely religious, down south COGIC/Refuge background associated with the Eastern Southern area of America. We also were enslaved somewhere down the line in my ancestry, so even my name asteroid shows connections to my mother marrying into my dad's family and birthing me as a result, it's kinda cool. My Saturn is conjunct the Africa Asteroid, for example, and I come from a long line of church and jazz musicans which culturally is down south. I come from a busy educational city that has nothing but school, churches, sports, and gossip. My perspective on ancestors is very learning and informational. I was set up with a lot of examples very early on. I come from people who have always settled down early, right out of school, usually. Also, one of the biggest problems outside of education, and of course, the pattern of violence, this is America, is a lot of gossip and talk of the town vibes. We were also socially segregated, my ancestors at least. One of the main ways I am also able to remember a lot about things is that my family keeps records and pictures of everyone. But I also noticed my ancestry is native as well, so being that I am from the first state of americas I believe my ancestry just goes from Africa from there. Like Saturn is also reflecting the story of slavery and the disconnection it brought to my ancestry. Truthfully, oppression and hardship did a number on many people in my family. But over time, as they got older, many would turn their life around or marry young and grow through marriages for a long time, good or bad. So they all left the situation and went through the hardships in the same place.

I recommend playing with name and locational asteroids. You can go deeper into ancestry and location by using the Saturn person Chart. Relate this to Astrocartography - pinpoint certain planets to roots and ancestry as well.

USE WHAT'S CONNECTED TO YOUR ANCESTRY WITH ASTEROID/LOCATIONS KNOWN.

Hey y’all! In today’s post, I have decided to analyze Tumblr’s birth chart as part of my social media astrology series. There’s some not-so-surprising things that I’d like to share about it. It’s a very telling chart. Tumblr was founded on February 19th, 2007, in New York City.

Pisces Stellium

The Sun, Moon, Venus, Uranus, Mercury (Retorgrade), and North Node are all in Pisces in the 9th house. The 10th house rules visibility and public standing, so having this many placements here indicates that Tumblr’s identity is entangled in being a public-facing spiritual, esoteric, and “alternative” thought platform.

With the Sun, the public persona is dreamy, spiritual, imaginative, and empathic. But it can also be delusional, evasive, and martyr-like. People on Tumblr could feel spiritually “seen”, but this also attracts people with savior complexes, or superiority complexes in their spiritual identity.

With the retrograde Mercury, communication can be confused, misinterpreted, or come from subjective/emotional perspectives disguised as universal truths. It makes it easy for misinformation and deceptive language to gain traction because people may feel it’s right, or want it to be right, even when it isn’t.

With Venus, the platform idealizes love and beauty, especially in spiritual or aesthetic forms (future spouse content, moodboards, fanfics). But this can create “love and light” toxicity and delusions around relationships and celebrities/idols.

With Uranus, this brings more “hot takes” in tarot and astrology, sudden spiritual awakenings, cancel culture waves, or spiritual elitism. Unexpected and chaotic shifts are bound to happen in the community.

With the North Node, this platform is meant to become known for spirituality, creativity, and lead in originality and artistic direction. But without discernment or boundaries, this can (and has) spiral into mass delusion or false worship within the community.

With this stellium, everyone wants to be a spiritual leader and intuitive guru. But with these placements, this can bring about toxic superiority complexes, misinformation, manipulation, and echo chambers.

Neptune in Aquarius in the 9th House

Pisces is traditionally ruled by Neptune. So Neptune being here is hilarious and incredibly telling. The 9th house rules higher wisdom, beliefs, spirituality, education, and cultures. Neptune in Aquarius gives Tumblr a utopian, dream-like community. But Neptune can cloud clarity. People could get lost in over idealistic belief systems or confusing New Age ideologies.

There’s a tendency to conflate intuition with truth, and a deep distrust of certain people or beliefs can lead to a rise of “my truth is the truth” mindsets. This can also lead to the spread of dangerous spiritual concepts. This shows that most people follow others based on vibes rather than wisdom. Mass spiritual misinformation spreads easily under the disguise of liberation and inclusivity.

Mars in Capricorn in the 8th House

This is where the harassment, spiritual manipulation, and abuse of power come in. Mars in the 8th is intense, aggressive, and obsessed with power dynamics. In Capricorn, it’s cold, strategic, and status-driven. People may use spirituality to climb a hierarchy or assert dominance over others under the disguise of moral superiority. Here, spirituality is used as a weapon, especially in secret or passive-aggressive ways. Emotional manipulation and dominance battles being disguised as “truth-telling” is also possible.

Pluto and Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 7th House

The 7th house represents close relationships. With Pluto here, people can attract transformative and toxic people and form tough dynamics with each other. Power struggles, obsession, control, and projection are constant themes. With Jupiter here, beliefs and moral righteousness are projected onto others, which leads to intense ideological clashes and moral grandstanding in the name of “justice” or “truth”. On Tumblr, interpersonal dynamics are overloaded with projection, especially spiritual or moral projection. People can be dogmatic, preachy, and unwilling to see others as complex humans rather than enemies.

Saturn in Leo in the 3rd House

Saturn is in retrograde in this chart. This implies that there are karmic lessons that need to be learned on this platform. In Leo, this shows up as issues with the ego, attention-seeking behavior, and cocky leadership. In the 3rd house, it impacts how users communicate and form thoughts. There’s a lack of restraint or discipline in what people say, but also insecurity behind the need to be right, loud, and superior. So people are more prone to speak from wounded egos on this platform. This indicates a fear of being invisible or irrelevant, which results in performative communication and posts, self righteousness, and harsh takedowns.

With all this being said, Tumblr is like a spiritual mirror maze. It rewards spiritual identity over grounded wisdom. It confuses personal truth with universal truth. It invites everyone to be a mystic yet no one checks for accuracies or provides true guidance. It promotes idealism but represses accountability. It runs on projection, not integration.

❃ Most Virgo placements tend to be into music/art/digital art and will definitely have something related to stomach issues or issues regarding their health. Hence we see most people with these usually have a focus on their health (subject to change with the aspects involved in the chart).

❃ saturn/Capricorn placements have been through many lessons during their lifetime, especially their childhood. Most of them have had to grow early and take charge of their life, these lessons sometimes being harsh that it affects their mental health as well. They also work hard and learn to stand on their own feet early on but they struggle through a lot. Delays could've happened in their career but when they reached a quotient, they truly do shine when they have learned from the trauma and lessons.

❃ People with Venus in 12th/8th house, do sometimes attract partners who might have toxic traits around them and could be very insecure of their success or happiness. You will always have a strong intuition about this, but you might also excuse your persons/partner's behavior when you are w.r.t. underdeveloped.

---> As 12H is the house of hidden enemies, along with idealized standards of these individual, they truly have to learn to assert boundaries and learn to balance out a connection/relationship. As well as you might also have a strong intuition, knowing it might not end well or have a "feeling" That the connection might not work but would stick because of this love with the idealised side of the person. For ---> 8H - you don't love easily, but when you fall, you fall hard. Your relationship would bring out alot of triggers for you in general, alot of the suppressed underdevelopment might start coming out through your relationships/connections. It's always taken to extremes, either very happy or very chaotic. Many lessons, could be that your person might also be insecure of your financial stability.
