demidemidemidemidemi. as you can probably guess, today we are going to be doing DEMISEXUAL, DEMIROMANTIC, and DEMIGENDER(s).

starting off with demisexual and demiromantic (yes i’m doing them together do not come for me). demisexual refers to someone who can feel sexual attraction, but in order to feel that attraction, there has to be an emotional bond there first. it lies on the asexual spectrum, and is one of the more well-known terms under the ace umbrella. similarly, demiromantic refers to someone who can experience feelings of romantic attraction, but requires an emotional bond first. demiromantic lies on the aromantic spectrum.

DEMIGENDERS!!! so for this, i’m mainly going to be focused on demiboy and demigirl, so if you’re a demigender that isn’t one of those i’m really sorry. so demigirl refers to someone who’s gender is half female and half something else (most likely a nonbinary identity). demiboy is the same thing, except that they’re half male rather than half female.
