Iruma is an open book.

You were just his happy crush.

You know, the kind that makes him take the longer hallway just to get a glimpse of you.

The kind that makes his heart beat so fast when he sees you around the corner, talking with a friend.

A simple hi from you will make up his whole day

These doesn't go unnoticed by you, of course

And what is there left to do when you know that your crush likes you, too?

You confessed

It's nothing over-the-top, a casual "This is why I like you" with a laugh when you were helping him sweep Balam Sensei's classroom.

Oh boy was he stammering

"Wha-- what do u mea-- oh of course we-- we all like our friends"

You chuckled again "Ahh, but I don't mean it as a friend"

The baby looked at you for a good minute before passing out.

Iruma is tender

He ALWAYS ask for permission first before holding your hands

"Are you comfortable if your friends see me holding your hand"

You always reassures him, and sometimes you do it first!

Don't forget to remind him to breathe from time to time please.

He loves touching your hands. Playing with your fingers, tracing your palms, sliding within your knuckles.

He loves it more when you do it first, an indication that the feelings are mutual

That it's not just him that feels something for you.

Your digits would roam his scalp, would linger on his face, and then pinch his cheeks

He's so soft, you thought

"Heyy don't do that" and then he sandwich your face between his palms

An act of revenge in the most gentle way, as if he's scared to break you.

Iruma is happy

Whenever you're visiting the principal's mansion, or when you've got free time to spend with him, Asmodeus, and Clarin, or when you're stopping by the Royal One--

Iruma's smile is always ear to ear.

Well, it is his personality to be always smiling.

But his friends know that this is a bit different kind of smile

A little bit brighter, a little bit more alive

When Lied do something funny, or Clarin and AzzAzz have one of those playful fights, he would look at you to see if you're laughing as well.

He really likes seeing you happy

Iruma is Jealous

No one can tell me otherwise

But he's the silent type. The kind that doesn't tell you anything because he knows it's ridiculous.

Doesn't stop him from being a bit threatened whenever you're talking to Asmodeus, tho.

Please don't get him wrong, he trusts you, and he trusts his best friend

It's just that, when he looks at you, all he see is someone he didn't deserve

"What if y/n realizes that i'm not good enough?", "What if y/n thinks that they can do better"

Yet you always pull him out of it.

You don't get to hear what he thinks about, nor does he ever say

But the way you cup his face in private, the way you pepper his face of kisses when no one's looking---

At some point, it is enough to remind Iruma that it is him that you like, and not anyone else.

But Iruma is not a Demon

The thought of Clarin and Asmodeus hating him when they find out that he is a human already terrifies the hell out of him

But if the same goes for you?

Oh... Oh what would he do?

And so he starts to drift away

His hands no longer linger around yours, his voice no longer playful

Iruma thought that it would do you better if he removes himself out of your perspective

Admiring you from afar is better than you hating him

He could live with it, is what he thought, what he wants to believe, what he forces himself to believe

But when you came storming down the Royal One one day, demanding to see the blueberry, all his resolve crashes down.

It won't hurt to be a little bit greedy

"Why are you avoiding me? If I have done something wrong, you could've just tol--"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry y/n... I didn't mean to... I have-- I need-- I don't know"

his head falls onto his palms, talking to you between sobs

You brought him into an embrace, your fingers though his soft locks

"I have a secret... but I can't-- not yet... Will you be angry if I wait a bit longer before... Before I can tell you?"
