3) are they open about their relationship? how do they feel about public displays of affection? they are open about as much as they can be, not harming any of their members. they're not afraid of holding each other's hand while they're walking on the street, or kissing each other if they're not working. but, once they're on their 'idol' form, they pretend they don't even know each other.

10) what do they fight about? what are their arguments like? how do they make up? jade and johnny are two confident bitches and, although it helps them a lot, it also brings a lot of confrontation to their relationship. one thing they're often arguing over, is their jealousy. but it's not an argument, they tease each other until one of them decides to assume it. they make up with a long night full of love (if you know what I mean).

johnny upfront, bottle of wine in hand, dancing to the feels, purposely dancing some steps wrong because he knows jade hates it. jade in the back, sitting in her work station and at the same time she's staring at him like 🤨, she's with the most beautiful smile on her face because she loves him so much

I honestly think we all have a bit of "Jade" in us, even in a passive way, and that's what I love about writing for her the most!!!!

that's exactly why I make her have all of the solo work, to make it feel like she doesn't fit the group 🤪

I've said it before that Jade's artistic opinions and values are completely different from the company, which reflects the way they treat her (which you may know, is horribly). she only debuted because it'd make no sense if she didn't as she was the most popular internationally and all of the hip hop community (and a lot of rappers) was supporting her.

about her attitude and scandals, well, I just thought it'd be nice to have a member with this kind of attitude as twice has this bright and funny concept, and that's how she was born so... 😌

about the "solo" things, I'm sorry if that's gonna sound rude, but I don't think it's cool this whole thing of not giving the girls solo stuff, and as jade is just an oc, then why not? many of her solo stuff are unofficial (like her mixtape, she released it on soundcloud) or has TWICE involved somehow. detentionclub was a random idea I had and originally she wasn't even part of it, jaein was, but I thought jade would fit more so I changed it.

long answer bc I've been dying to write something about jade in sixteen since when I started writing for her 🥺

so, jade during sixteen was THAT trainee!!!!!!

everyone was afraid of jade when it came to her performances because girl knew how to shine even though she had to do something totally out of her comfort zone, like singing, and only two people could try to take her from the major group: momo or jihyo.

the other girls would call her "female jyp" because of her sense of criticism - there's even this situation when natty asked jade what she thought jyp would think of her performance and jade said EXACTLY what jyp said later on - and because of that, many people would say jade was rude or that she was mistreating the girls 🙄

her public was mainly the hip-hop and rap public and, at the time sixteen was aired, jade wasn't known for her visuals (people only started noticing that after the photoshoot episode).

her relationship with jyp was not so different from what it is today, they'd always be bickering and disagreeing with each other, the only difference is that jade couldn't be as savage as she's now because her career was on the line...

the main criticism people had about her was that she was too quiet and reserved compared to the other girls, specially nayeon, and some people would even say she wouldn't match twice's concept at first - and that reflects a lot in the way jype treats her nowadays.
