17. Opinion on insecurities.
I think everyone has them, and I think everyone has the right to HAVE them no matter how big or small. Insecurities start from somewhere (and we usually forget where it started). I don’t know what I got my insecurity that I am a boring person or that I am afraid to speak because I will say something stupid. But, and although I haven’t live that long, I can say this: if you let them overtake your mind and life in general, it can ruin you. It’s okay to have your days where your insecurities are taking over, but don’t let it be everyday. For four years in high school, and almost three years in college, I lived with an eating disorder, depression, anxiety built up to what I have now, and ended having BDD. I still have my days were I see myself in the mirror or I am in public and I think people are judging me, but I breathe once I get home and become proud for getting through the day. It’s only been RECENTLY that I am finally being okay with who I am (except the whole career and school thing which is different). But know this, everyone is irreplaceable and those insecurities make you shine even brighter.
