Clearly you’ve never had to deal with an adult who expects all their whims to be fulfilled at the drop of a hat. Spoiling kids isn’t about giving them too many positive experiences. It’s about not making Karens
while we're making sweeping assumptions about each other's personal experiences, clearly you've never noticed that our society's current pattern of
a) teaching children that it's just and moral for adults to demand to get their way all the time, and
b) constantly reinforcing adults' entitlement toward children and anyone else they hold privilege over
seems, for some presumably unknowable reason, to leave us with a continuing problem of entitled adults.
