WHAT IF Barbatos is THE fallen angel, the original serpent. Like, he has the serpent motif going on, he has a halo, what if he was the serpent that tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden?

Maybe in the other two games his "atonement" could be referencing how he tempted Eve and almost destroyed humanity, causing harm to Solomon and Diavolo (by extension)?

Also, this would probably make him the first angel, older than Michael and Lucifer. You know how angels take on other younger angels and guide them (ex: Simeon with Luke, or Lucifer with his brothers)? What if Barbatos was the first angel and he took on Michael, and that's why Michael has such an intense sweet tooth? Because Barbatos, the greatest pastry chef in all three worlds, was once his mentor and baked for him?

ALSO, Michael has some time manipulation powers, we've experienced them in game. What if he learned how to do that from Barbatos?

Maybe that's also why we never see Michael in the game. We know how painful it was for Simeon and Raphael to see the brothers again after they fell. Could you imagine how painful it would be for Michael to see Barbatos, the original serpent and his mentor after all this time? He also frequently asks Luke to bring him treats from the Devildom, often made by Barbatos (because he's home sick for Barb's cooking)

Just some cake for thought... I haven't been and to get this idea out of my head since I saw your post, and I'm foaming at the mouth

Meanwhile i did my first post as a joke, these days I have been with the thought that maybe... Barbatos might be a fallen angel after all. While it's probably an artistic choice, there's a premium image that got released when they announced that they woukld stop updating the game. (Thanks to Miki that made me remember that image 🫶)

Checking on the wiki just to see what other premium images would probably be part of this banner theme, Barbatos premium is the only one with a halo like this... mmmm 🤔 If you're with the idea that Barbatos is Nightbringer (Me 🫶) There's actually the whole plotpoint with Adan, and Nightbringer being called "The father of all demons" aka, The first Angel to fall!!. Michael warning the MC of allying themselves with Barbatos because he knows what Barbatos is capable of (getting humans kicked out the garden of Eden)... Much to think about, I believe than Barbatos being so involved in SC advertising (The steam page, him being the first character to get a full-body reveal sprite) means that he will be more involved in SC than we think. I really hope they explain the halo 🙏🙏

To be honest, It's difficulty to think about a good S4 in NB because judging the direction the devs were trying to imply in the S3 ending... I don't think they could pull off anything like that. I'll try anyways. Also I suck at writting fanfic, so If this sucks don't look at me too hard lol.

Ok, here goes nothing, I have two ideas

Yeah the underwater asthetic is cool and all, but where is his personality? All his gaming stuff and stuff is gone except for one lone Ruri-chan plushie. Yeah he still has his mangas & dvds in the bookshelf, but where's the rest? Him being an otaku has literally always been a huge part of his character, so where is it 💔🥀

NOO I get it 😭 honestly I'm a bit dissapointed because appart from the Ruri-chan plushie, It feels too generic of a room for Levi, like, this could be the room for any water themed character, It doesn't do a good job in displaying Levi's personality!!

Also, can I be honest with you? I don't like how tiddy Satan's room feels... 😥😥 Like, some people might see It as character development, but at least making It look a bit more disorganized would be a good compromise. Like, I'll miss how Satan always insisted that his room was fine because he knows where everything Is lol

I actually had the sketch of this done back in December but after like doing Solomon content for his birthday all of November and into December I burnt out kinda bad and just didn’t wanna do anything else 😭

So it end up being tucked somewhere in the corner I kinda forgot about it for a while <- I got smooth brain if not in front of my face it’s not there 😭 until I had a dream a few days ago where I dreamed about finishing it and giving it to you?? But that dream did not tell me MC signature color >:(. Then I woke up and finished it. you know what they always say follow your dreams and I took it literally :D

Also I thought I knew your MCS character color but I think I forgot to ask??? -> I don’t have it written anywhere in my notes that’s my bad I just end up putting the canon mc sheep colors but def let me know what color it is <- even providing what it is specifically (like a picture) would be great so I can go back and change it and I’ll send it right back fixed :D
