How exactly do Filghe’s powers work? And what does she most often use them for?
Filghe's psionics allow her to manipulate living tissue using the energy produced by said psi, which includes most biological components of a body. Bone, fat, muscle, skin and the like. This does also include the linings and make up of various organs- however, what she can't see in plain sight requires a lot more effort on her part.
This can be used for things like mending/healing wounds, scars, and sculpting flesh into different shapes. Like a plastic surgeon would, you know? But it can also be used for the same thing, but much worse. Opening sores, twisting flesh into various shapes, snapping bone- you get the idea.
The problem is, the energy from her psi is quite volatile and she sometimes ends up hurting herself. Or, causing a lot of scarring.
She mostly uses them in a few ways, though. On herself, for one- she redistributes fat on herself and does away with her previous scars. Filghe has a bit of an obsession with her appearance, and loathes looking "ugly" or undesirable.
Her boss and… I don't know what to call him actually. Conservator I guess? He has her use her psionics in his research, which is supposed to help reverse damage done to his face. The treatment Filghe does for healing/creation of new tissues is not permanent, though- so this is still in development.
She does also use this in combat frequently, giving herself new temporary limbs or warping the flesh of others to leave them in quivering, gooey masses.
