#ask waffs

I didn't watch the full episode, I think I watched the last five minutes (really only the last 3) and it's more or less what I expected. It was an easy out - as we had seen with the prior character exit. The show is seemingly struggling with balancing the "family" aspect while focusing on more character driven episodes, and I don't think they are finding a good balance in all of it. Her exit seemed a little bit like a cop out.... In my opinion, Hailey came to intelligence running from her past, and she's leaving intelligence, seemingly running from the lack of progress that she seems to think she didn't make. The season 9 Hailey and the season 11 were very different people.

It happened a little unintentionally, but then life kept happening and time kept going on - and I am not sure when and/or if I'll be back.

I've deleted a handful of social media apps off my phone because life has been life. I also had surgery a couple weeks ago and on top of recovering from that, I've been dealing with some complications from that surgery. I am also hyper dependent on having to rely on others to help me achieve some day to day tasks. Overall, I just want to feel a bit better physically and mentally.

We see everything through a carefully chosen, crafted lens that only shows .02% of their lives. We have no real insight into what their relationships/friendships are truly like. Just because they don't post doesn't mean they don't respect and love him.

I haven't watched any of season 11 & likely I won't watch any. I am still a little torn on T's final episode - I'll see how I feel on the day.

I'm around, just not as active as I've been in the past. Hugs.

I definitely get what you are saying - and I think that to an extent the overall silence we have had the last 18 months is very, very telling. However, I don't think we should also jump so far as to say she's not proud of her storyline since we haven't actually heard it from her lips. But still - the silence is loud.
