Hey, first I just wanted to say: I love what you are doing <3 and then how about the bachelors/bachelorettes reaction of the the farmer having heavy social anxiety?
I'm writing this under the assumption that there's some event they're supposed to go to but Social Anxiety Rears its Ugly Head.
1. "We can totally just watch the gridball game instead."
2. He doesn't really understand the extent of what social axiety is, but he knows how he used to get before a game and just multiplies that by ten to realize they don't need to go out.
1. "Would you braid my hair then?"
2. Elliott merely wants to give the farmer something to focus on while he can talk them down. If the farmer is good to go after that, then they might go. If they're not good (and he most certainly can tell when they're not!), they won't go.
1. "Let's work on some of those breathing techniques."
2. While Harvey doesn't have any certification to handle mental health, he did have a personal interest in it back in college (to help handle his own anxiety) so he has a few tricks up his sleeve.
1. "You can just hang out backstage!"
2. Sam's sort of used to this kind of thing from Sebastian, so he kind of gets their need to be away from people. But he also can't cancel his show, and really wants the farmer to still be there. If they can handle just being backstage, he's relieved, but he understands if otherwise.
1. "Then let's just not do anything at all."
2. Sebastian 100% gets social anxiety troubles, so he's more than willing to cancel any plans.
1. "We can just hang out with my chickens."
2. Shane also gets wanting to be away from people, so he just brings the farmer down into the basement coop until his chickens can help to calm the farmer down.
1. "We could go ghost hunting instead."
2. Forget whatever social event they were about to go to. Ghosts probably wouldn't trigger social anxiety in the farmer, since they're not quite people, right? Abigail thinks so.
1. "I've got some incense and calming stones for you."
2. Emily is all about remaining calm, so she has several physical resources to help the farmer ease their anxiety.
1. "They literally couldn't care less about what you're doing."
2. Haley's approach is a little bit brash, but sometimes, that's what we need to hear. She's learned by now that people tend to pay more attention to themselves than anyone else, so she thinks that if the farmer realizes that, they might calm down.
1. "Do you want to paint with me?"
2. Painting is what Leah does before any social event, because it calms her, steels her nerves, and puts her back in her element so she can survive the night. She wants to share that tactic with the farmer.
1. "I've actually been working on this anti-anxiety serum..."
2. She tries to get the farmer to try the serum she had invented to help keep them calm.
1. "We don't have to do anything you don't want to."
2. Penny's used to being steamrolled, and when the farmer actually has a genuine reason to change the plans instead of 'I just want to do this instead', she's more than willing to go along with it without a problem.
