Well, I feel like Henry left because he respects the character and because he respects the original author's amazing work. Through his interviews, Hen gave me the impression he "fought" a lot to stay true to Geralt. And then last week, a former writer of the show said that the writing team basically hated and mocked the source material. And we know Lauren wasn't a fan of the games for example (which is an amazing post adaptation, but still.) It's either a schedule issue or creative conflicts.

Nonnie, i wholeheartedly agree with you. I support Henry’s decision 100% (although I can’t understand why he’d drop a role he’s been literally seeking for so long).

They messed season 2 up and they wouldn’t have gone with the books anyway (clearly). I guess for an actor as passionate as Henry, dropping a role for his own sake, due to production and writing not being as he has envisioned it, is justified. They’re remixing it at this point, why even continue? End it with Henry. No one’s going to watch that shit from this point forward.

This series was alive thanks to Henry’s passion alone and they went and fucked it up. Can’t even imagine how he must have felt when he realised they’ve messed something he was so excited and passionate about up.

Edit: I don’t know why they were pushing for season 4 if they noticed the fandom was a bit unhappy. Why mock the books when they have such a brilliant storyline? It’s disrespectful to say the least. This is why we can not have nice things I guess

Anyway, stan Geralt, stan Jaskier and the rest of the cast and fuck the writers and production. I will stand by the books and games like I always have. 💔

Imagine an elf is given a job to do at a human institution. The humans think elves don’t need bathroom breaks, since they know they can hold it for days, but this elf has been traveling to reach their job, and has already been holding it to the point they are in pain. They ask for a break, but their job is important and time sensitive, so they admit they can still hold it when asked. After a full day of work, the elf tries to reach the bathroom in time, but they were never told where it is.
