Uhhhhh. Post-Scorch Firebrand. I also went with headcanons. There's 12 of them.

Firebrand, in all his loneliness, never expected to meet another mortal ever again. He'd caused too much damage and felt too much guilt to ever be able to bring himself to face those he'd hurt and destroyed the lives of. You were a mortal. Taking out his first expectation of never meeting one ever again. His second expectation was that you'd be an Inphernal. You were not.
He's very, very wary, at first. He's afraid he'll hurt you too. Any attempt you may make at speaking with him will be met with withdrawl.
If he does try to talk to you, it's usually curiosity. What were you?? How did you get there?? Why do you look so different from other mortals?? Explaining to him will garner his interest more, and he may be too curious and forget he's trying to put didtancd between you both.
He'll get more comfortable with you slowly, but finding out humans may be more fragile than Inphernals may set him back and he'll distance himself again.
He'd always been careful because of his hands, but he keeps them away from you even more than he would a mortal Inphernal. Yeah a burn from his hands would be nasty as an Inphernal, he can only imagine how it would be for you (almost the same, judt a little worse than if you were an Inphernal).
He's confused by your needs. Food, water, sleep, bathroom. So many things you need. He'll do what he can though. Not that it'd be much, but he'd still try.
If, and more likely when, you show interest in him and how he's different than you, he'd answer any questions you have. As long as they aren't sensitive topics, he'll answer. He'd also let you touch his wings if you asked.
He'll do his best to teach you about gears and their importance to Inphernals. He'll be curious about if humans have anything similar, then ask more about cultures and traditions when you eventually delve into those topics.
He quite enjoys listening to you talk about human hygiene. You have so much you have to do. Your hair, your skin, places you always keep covered, inside your mouth. Humans try to be so clean, it's amusing to hear about.
He wishes he could hold you. He longs to feel the softness of your skin, the give of pressing against your flesh. But he's so scared of burning you. No matter how much he wants to feel the physical differences between humans and Inphernals, he's not going to risk hurting you like that.
Give this deity a kiss and he'll be very very happy. Once you're close enough to him, he loves loves loves affection!! And the feeling of fuller lips planting kisses all over his face is a surefire way to get him to smile and melt into the affection (I say fuller lips because. It doesn't look to me like Inphernals have lips that go. Forward?? From the face like humans. Idk how better to explain it, Inphernal lips look flat as fuck sorry guys)
He'll lean his head against the top of your head to feel your hair against his face. No matter the texture of it, it'll feel nice to him. It's a feeling he's not used to, and it's an enjoyable one.
