I feel like Vanessa and Gregory's found family relationship to me is two people who had nothing and are left with nothing. I fully think the way they functioned after the events of Security Breach was Vanessa taking on a parental role because that grounded her and kept her living a 'normal' routine because Gregory needed that and Gregory relearning how to trust people, and Vanessa specifically, again and kind of readjusting to having a home and a person to depend on again.

honestly, i like it. quite a lot. Kat and Dante are both tremendously vulnerable people (despite Dante’s tough guy act) and he clearly cares a lot for her and vice versa, so i genuinely enjoy it.

their dynamic in general is also one i really like, and i think that, out of everyone, Dante is the one who will understand Kat the most. she gives him a reason to try, to care for humanity, and he gives her a reason to discover herself and become her own person.
