The food was menu was the same, but the flight staff was much more professional and attentive on this flight! Was is still worth it to splurge on business class tickets? The jury is still out since I’m still so disappoint from the previous legs. Smoked salmon canapé and dried beef and asparagus roll. LAX-ICN ✈️ @asianaairlines 📱 ••• Purchased business class tickets for the long flight from Los Angeles to Bangkok via Seoul as a holiday treat. The food was decent and the service was good overall, maybe a bit hit or miss depending on the attendant. However, what sucked was their grossly inconsistent in-flight mask policy. In my section of business class, they would tell a couple people to wear masks mid-flight while allowing half the cabin to remain maskless! People were watching tv without a mask, going to the bathroom without a mask, working on their computers without a mask, sleeping without a mask, talking to each other without a mask, drawing and even knitting without a mask! Yet they would single out others to put masks on. I will always comply with a mask policy but enforce it for everyone! 🤦‍♂️👎 Has splurging for business class been worth it! Besides being able to sleep flat, service hasn’t been spectacular enough to completely sell me.
