I never really interacted with ashwag before the qsmp. I knew he existed, I heard his name floating around but I just never watched his content. But after I watched tubbos vod of qsmp day one I was like :0 becouse this guy is so cringe. But like not cringe in the bad way, like adorningly cringe. Like the main super villain in a kids cartoon that goes "MWHAHAHHA" on top of a building and then five minutes later slips on a banana peel. I can't believe I've never watched anything about him before he's so like actaully so funny.

Tbh Clown genuinely needs therapy if he has PTSD symptoms. However, I believe the timeline of the story is between WW1 and WW2, which is a time where a mental illness was considered them whining. An innate weakness.
Also, I think Clown has a weak constant tremors on his hands and it just isn’t good ;-;
But still he refuses to go to the therapist until Minute and Ash drags him. Cause the man is OLD and CONSERVATIVE (probably not bad as Zombie but decently) and OLD
But therapy is nice. I bet it wouldn’t be like a proper therapy since psychologists were a new concept and all but super silly
Whitepine Clown would have internal homophobia. If two other guys love each other, it's fine.
I headcannon that his parents were abusive BECAUSE he liked guys and that's why he ran away to the army.
When Ash admitted he thought he was Bi, Clown was the most supportive friend imaginable.
I headcannon that Ash and Squiddo were married, and Clown was the best man.
Ash had no idea how to date, (neither did Clown) but Ash asked Clown mainly because Clown's older.
Clown's PTSD probably comes from a friend getting murdered by an assassin.
That friend probably wasn't Branzy, mainly bc I headcannon Branzy is shit at combat in every universe. So the friend could be either Rasplin, Ferre, or Leo.

AWW my personal headcanon is Clown was a middle rank soldier and that is why he is very obedient to the Hamlocks, but not too low that he also has many experiences on leading people and directing them.
And that Clown's PTSD is when he was at a low rank soldier and he was just thrown into the trenches. Unlike the glorified battlefield with propaganda, it was mud and blood and way too much corpses for too little wins. (I consider whitepine as after the world war 1 on Clown saying he was around since the carriages) which made the internal homophobia forgettable because everything around him was actually worse.
But yes, Ash literally would be bi I mean, look at that man, he slays too hard to be completely straight. (lol)
And ooc Clown comes in and becomes very friendly with Ash when he finds out. so sweet.
I don't personally like to think it was his comrades but rather a civilian kid or a person. Which in my mind is Kab, cause, well, kid and a woman. As Clown got used to feeling many corpses of uniformed soldiers but never civilians.
And Clown probably bonded with the kid but a second later she is dead in his arms. He starts to question the government, the authorities, the generals. Why was he fighting for again?
