Asha (Renuka Devi), a young woman raised by Premchand’s family, is caught between her loyalty to them and her love for Puran. When Premchand compromises his values to work with a corrupt businessman, Puran quits Sansar and starts his own paper, Naya Sansar. This bold step makes Premchand realize his mistake. He not only restores the newspaper’s progressive voice but also supports Asha and Puran’s love.
