"Darling, I'd like to take care of Ammare tonight so you can get some rest. Don't vvorry, I've actually missed my time in the caverns caring for grubs."
"are you sure darling? Ammare is quite the handful and has quite the set of teeth on her" he hummed, glancing into the room at where the grub is asleep in her little nest. Ashoal chewed his lip lightly, thinking on the offer. "a-alright I....She is your grub as well after all.... do...you mind if i slip out to that little café we frequented? the library?" he asked, almost hoping to be told no so he could stay close by.
Well sure, I'll ask Kat something. Hey Kat, wouldn't it be funny if I gave you this catnip stuffed mouse toy? It's all yours with more to come, if you teleport Ammare to Tannos, maybe in his hair or something?
The cat hummed softly and a wide grin spread over his lips. "catnip you say~ hmmm I believe i can make that deal" he chuckled, arching his back as he stood from the shelf he had lounged on. "Ammare you say~ such a young life to rip from loving parents" a dark chuckle can be heard as Kar reaches out and snatches the toy out of the anons hand. "The deal is done"
With the toy in his mouth, Kat wandered behind a set of books and disappeared from view, appearing in the room of the sleeping grub. Ashoal was asleep next to her, though that didn't stop the spacial creature. With a leap and a bound, Kat had taken Ammare and disappeared back into the void.
Ashoal congrats! How is the baby?????
"My precious grub is doing well. Ammare is just as sassy as her daddies are" he chuckled, looking over in the nest to the grub laying beside him.
"she's a stinker but thankfully she's laying down for a nap. Right now were just awaiting those bright eyes to close~"

Ashoal had gotten himself away from the kitchen and the grey stranger that had invaded his home. The cerulean couldnt take it any more! This was his home! How were they getting in? Even with Viktor and Rutaci in just the other rooms, he didnt feel safe anymore. These things could find him anywhere he hid, from the library all the way out here in the abandoned church on the edge of the desert, they always found them.
Ashoal groaned and wiped the angry tears from his eyes, emotions easily overpowering him as he started to well up and cry as he paced the long hall between overturned pews. "what am i going to do Ammare? I dont want them to get you too, I dont want them to be able to hurt you like theyve hurt us" he rambled to the grub in his stomach, one hand carefully resting on the large bump
"i wont let them hurt you.... I promise" he whispered, taking a deep breath and turning on his heel only to stop in his tracks when a sudden wetness could be felt running down his leg. His eyes went wide as they glanced down to the almost clear liquid soaking the inner leg of his pants and starting to lightly pool where the cotton couldnt contain it anymore.
Initially embarrassment set in, how could he have not felt the need to use the bathroom? Wouldnt he have felt something along those lines long before this happened? Then it dawned on him. He'd already taken care of that before he went into the kitchen.
With a shaky hand he rubbed his stomach, feeling the grub inside shifting before getting a soft twinge of pain. Something in the back of his mind told him it was time. No....no it's too soon, the book said i still had another couple of weeks!
"Ru..V-Vik..." he called out, hoping someone would hear him as his voice shook. "Ruta?! Viktor?! " He panicked. He wasnt ready, he didnt feel SAFE..... but the grub decided now would be the best time.
Ash swallowed and carefully sat himself on the nearest pew with a shaky breath. He had to make sure they heard him....
"RUTA?! VIKTOR!!!! HELP!"
Have any of your characters turned out completely different then you originally planned? If so who and how?
Serthi, Cerium, and Ashoal actually.
Serthi was initially going to just be this foodie that never left home, but as his muse grew unhappy and heilels added to it, he came out into a small villain arc that went awry and now he's a proper chef, has a mate, and unfortunately no contact with the library at this point In time.
Cerium has come out of her nervous shell the more she interacts with her moirail
And ashoal was supposed to be a cold, bitter heart but the moment he met viktor it all went downhill. His frozen heart melted and then he was introduced to rutaci and the two of them allowed the cerulean to properly feel love again after his issues with mate and moirail trauma in the past
I need to write down what arcs I'm doing and actively get to work on drabbles for them.....
