Aurora smiled as she noticed Ivy.

"Good morning Ivy."

A mug was set in front of Ivy by Brian, a cup of earl gray tea.

Jonny nodded at Ivy before speaking.

"Gmornin. What do ya want for breakfast?"

"Jonny. Tell her the options."

"Bacon, sausage, pancakes, hash browns, home fries, eggs, waffles, french toast, english muffins, bagels, toast. Whatcha want?"

Raphaella pulled along Tim to find yarn, finding a nice red yarn that Tim enjoyed the texture of before bringing it to Bertie.

Tim laid across Ashes' lap while Raphaella set to turn on the muppet movies.

Bertie decided, for this one, to go for texture. A lacy pattern he found online, something simple enough to do without needing a cable needle. Something that'd look nice, and. . . and would be quick.

Quick. A double-edged sword.

"Whys my head still feel like tape recorder static?"

“Hm? Oh,” Raphaella rubbed the sleep from her eyes, yawning a bit. “Yeah, painkillers take a bit to wear off, sorry. But I’m sure you’ll feel better by the end of the day.” She smiled at Ivy. “Do you want to go grab breakfast?

"Oh thank Mother."

"Ahem."

"Thank you Annabelle for keeping Ivy safe, we must be going now, it's a long drive back home."

"Of course. Do have fun Ivy. It was lovely seeing you."

Hanging in there, mostly? The flowers were. . . a lot. Everything has been.

Bit overwhelming, all of this. And Jonny— I’ve hugged him twice now. Once I started, but.

Can barely believe that one.

All he wanted to do was have a semi-decent gift to give to Lyf as an… apology? Thanks for bringing Bertie over? He didn’t know, but he definitely needed to do it.

Unfortunately, the local Lyf expert here had given Jonny a full on fucking list of every fabric to avoid, what places seams should go so they didn’t bug them, and half a dozen other random tidbits to keep in mind that made Jonny’s job a lot fucking harder.

He didn’t think half the bullshit even mattered, but Marius insisted it was important, so Jonny had to listen, because every time he made some measly mistake it always ended up being some sort of sacrilegious thing that just made the good ol’ former inspector hate his guts more.

When he got the knock on the door, he let out a frustrated huff, shoving the coat under his bed quickly.

“Fuck ya’ want?”

Ivy shook her head lightly, her Jonny was much similar when interrupted.

"Archivist! It's wonderful to officially meet you! Simon-"

"Father! I told you that she wasn't open for any meetings today!"

"Nonsense Aurora, she's here, is she not?"

"That is besides the point!'

Ivy looked up from where she’d perched on a chair, scanning over the statement, and blinked dazedly. This was- right, probably an avatar. She glanced at Aurora, and at the others in the Archives.
