Happy pride month to all the amazing queer individuals that paved the way for the future's generations of queer people and built their own communities and safety. The American dream was promised to many and many more empty promises. Queer Indigenous people, Queer African Americans, Queer Arab people, Queer Mexican people and Queer disabled people have built their own safety from the ground up. A truly remarkable and beautiful showing of what community and resistance can do. And at the same time it's horrific queer people have to prove they are human. Have to prove they deserve rights and have to yell to be seen.
